Really Nice Codeine Thread

Question: anyone else had the Zapain 30/500s? I've been mailordering them from the UK for a while now. And I find one of those to be weaker and slower-onset than one tab of 20mg pure codeine phosphate from my own chemist. But they should be 150% as strong obv.

Anyone else noticed something odd/weak with them? Maybe it's the press of the pill, the Zapains are very hard to chew and seem to be coated with a film..

Yeh they have a weird coating, probably titanium dioxide the same as paramol.
 
Realised how lucky I am today when my missus reminded me I need coffee filters after I bought co-codamol. The last one just used to yell at me for it.

I am sort of worried though as the stuff doesn't touch pain for me - just get the euphoria - and I've been in slowly increasing pain since I fell down a trapdoor last summer leaving me wondering what to say to the doc if he tries to prescribe it when I eventually get round to going. It's not constantly bad but sometimes getting out of bed or standing up makes me want to cry a lot. Can't take NSAIDs cos they give me asthma attacks or I'd be fine.
 
Went to my GP today to get my repeat for Loperamide increased - now I'm back with a stoma and have lost another 18" of small bowel I'm up to the full 16mg a day. I mentioned to her now much better the codeine works when I have that after surgeries, and she said that it would be an option to get a long-term prescription if the Loperamide isn't effective enough. Not going to go for it for now, but nice to know I have the option, I thought they'd flat out refuse to prescribe me codeine long-term like that.
 
I have tried codeine 'CWE' a few times, cant say it really worked for me. One time I was hype it and determined and I was going to get proper of my tits lad, so off I go round and got 4 packets of 8/30 I think they are?? I done it properly I know I did I had watched to many videos of it being done, and am not a complete spazzy window licker I can follow instructions so that is exactly what I done, I even was a bit chuffed with how well it had gone and with the filtering process went, fuck that nasty para is, totally nassty!!!!

I was totally underwhelmed to be honest, I was chilled out an shit, I think maybe the slightest bit goochy but nothing like I was hoping for. The going round chemists then going home and do the CWE thing, time you pay for all the codine you could have got yourself a bag or two, and the dunt is better too.

Maybe I did it wrong can explain the buzz that is worth going through that shit for?
 
Yeah, you did it wrong. You're supposed to do it while not being a smackhead. That is, if you are looking for a dunt.
However you DO score some points for not being a "complete spazzy window licker"! As you claim..
 
No I did it right, did you forget to read that part just the experience from codeine was shit, and it was just at the start of my smackheads days, main reason I probably did it with such passion and determination because I was looking for that opiate buzz, I should of had the bollocks to tell myself I was due to be a smack head, and not act like a knob going round chemist buying codeine pills then playing silly bollocks with CWE, Smack over life innit. Although DF'S can be ok if their nowt else about, with some vallies you can get proper fuckin' rocking actually, the DF'S have got to be the 120s though.

I tried sooooooooo hard not to laugh even though I definitely shouldn't cos that sounds horribly painful. I managed to restrict myself to a guilty semi-smirk but promise I felt guilty about it if it helps ;)

In more practical news, I've noticed a number of times that the painkilling effect of codeine seems to work better at sub-recreational doses for me. Past around the 250mg mark and it seems to all but lose what little analgesic effect it has to begin with. May be worth laying off the higher doses and giving it a go at significantly less - seems to work that way for me sometimes anyway.
 
Snolly you are worse than me who fell off ladders coming down from our attic a few weeks back - so I know what you mean, when you need the pain killing relief and it doesn't give its - what a bitch. We will be naughty girls and abuse it.

I'm enjoying a pleasant 600mg just now, just about right I think.
 
Haha no worries man, it was only horribly painful the next day and the wonderful future bro-in-law happened to have a stash of DHC so I spent about half an hour in agony and the rest of the morning floating about happily :D If some fucker had been videoing it that'd have been a nice bit of cash off You've Been Framed.

Will have to give that a go tho, the sub-recreational dosing, cheers. Will lay off it for a bit and see if it works, will be chuffed if it does cos it's that or rubbing disturbingly semen-y Voltarol into my hip and sod that

Same dose for me at the moment, snap! Slowly wearing off but I've had a nice afternoon off it. Think I'd prefer trapdoor to falling off ladders though, ouch :( but yep, clumsiness is a damn curse, and codeine is lovely when it works. Itchy though. So itchy.

I've even had an anti-histamine and my palms and tits are still itchy! :!
 
Oh god tits are the worst, the amount of times I've had to explain claw marks and bust blood vessels in mine from horrific itching, looks well dodgy! Feet are a close second imo, managed to scratch the skin off one of mine when I was taking ridiculous amounts a year or two back.
 
I made a state of the back of my right leg when i started, and i mean a state. My dad saw it and was begging me to go the docs 8(

I tend to scratch the underside of my ball sack too much aswell

No I only ever bought the 60mg pure codeine tabs or linctus... Couldn't be bothered getting paracetamol based n having to do a CWE n lose half of it. Codeine is sensitive to heat unlike DHC.

I always perceived any form of pure codeine tablets to be stronger than paracetamol-based tablets even 15mg ones - not sure why that is. The 30/500s may also seem weaker as you've taken them awhile and so your tolerance may have risen, you won't have the same effects, the effects last less etc it's why people get more and more opiates during addiction.

When I first took zapain it reminded me of being given diamorphine during childbirth n felt like the first amazing feeling ever which last hours!!!!

I would maybe suggest having a break, trying them again and seeing what happens.... it's possible that they could be fakes or have less codeine in but who really knows....

If a decent, recreational but functional, codeine dose is 200mg, how much oxycodone would produce similar (but more enjoyable, obviously) effects? Would 10mg be a good starting dose?

This is purely hypothetical, btw.
 
10mg may do the trick if you plug it or so, probably won't do the trick if you swallow or snort it. It's not very much.
