Actual GP. I have had to go through about 50 shoulder dislocations to get to this point though, so it's swings and roundabouts really.

Good news is I actually have a date for surgery now.......wwaaaaahhhhh I'm excited my shoulder's going to be fixed!!!!! *doesajoyousjig

Be careful. You've already a big codeine habit. If you're having thoughts of stronger opiates - that's not good. Oxy is expensive. After having these awhile you may be financially crippled n looking at Heroin at a cheap alternative.

In answer to his question probably more than the 10mg mentioned I would say, maybe start with 20mg if going orally. Oxy is an altogether better experience though qualitatively in my opinion (and many others'), and at the same time an altogether more dangerous substance in terms of it's likelihood to fuck up your life with addiction issues.
 
Thanks for the concern and advice guys. I have a tenth of a Bitcoin lying around, so the thought of finally trying oxycodone has been on my mind. Not sure whether I'll go through with it though as no way could I afford to switch addictions with those prices!

I may buy some DHC instead but as I get so much mileage out of plain old codeine, I'd probably be one of the weirdos that doesn't get much from DHC. Hmm, decisions decisions...
 
there is a DHC / para tablet but I've forgotten the name of it now 7.5/500. If someone knows what its called you could try that first to see how you find DHC?

DHC is 1.5 more potent than codeine if I remember correctly but I'd maybe research to make sure.

What is the price?

I've only come across it a couple of times on the UK market, once when somebody gave me a load of 10mg contins for free (iirc, not sure why they were giving me free oxy...) and there was one black girl with sickle cell anaemia when I lived in London who used to sell her script to me absolutely dirt cheap so she could buy cocaine. Worked out at less than £1.50 per oxynorm 20mg but clearly that's not representative of what they're actually worth.
 
The 10mg are about £5 each on the dark net. Affordable as a one-off/treat, but not viable as a long term solution.
 
Whoah....that's insane (but how much I thought they might be), is that for instant release? I certainly wouldn't pay that for contins, maybe as you say just as a special treat or to try the drug when you otherwise wouldn't be able to I would pay that for IR but not contins.

Never even appreciated how good that oxy hook up was when I had it, was just another day or two of feeling good without having to worry about scoring when I got her months oxy.

Certainly as you say day to day it can't compete with a bottle of linctus in the bang/buck stakes. It will take you to a place linctus never will though.
 
They're the instant release pills.

Do you think it's worth me trying DHC first (is it gonna be noticeably nicer than regular codeine?), or shall I just go with the oxy? The DHC is £45 for 3 grams worth of IR pills. Works out about the same price as mail order codeine linctus, perhaps a little more expensive.

I'd love to try hydrocodone, but I doubt that's gonna happen anytime soon unless I visit the States.
 
DHC is qualitatively better than codeine but not vastly. You'll get much more mileage out of 3g DHC (exactly what I collected from the chemist yesterday....100x30mg dhc), but it won't be a vastly different experience than what you get from codeine. The oxy will be over and done with in an evening at most if you've got some opiate tolerance but it will get you high in a way that DHC/codeine never will really.
 
Ok, so I've just received 100 x 30mg DHC tabs. 200mg codeine feels really nice. How much DHC shall I take for my first time?

I'm not looking for gouching or nodding, I just want a feel-good buzz while I go about my business. I was thinking a 30mg allergy test, followed by 120/150mg? I definitely want to err on the side of caution.

DHC is meant to be a little more stimulating than codeine, right?
 
Update.

Went with 150mg. Feel intoxicated and over simulated, kinda like drinking too many coffees. No euphoria or warm & fuzzies.

Bugger.
 
I tried it years ago as a Paramol CWE. My technique was terrible back then and I probably lost most of it with my over zealous filtering.

I can still feel the 150mg now and it isn't pleasant. Kinda simulated but sedated at the same time. Zero euphoria or fun. To be honest, it feels almost exactly like kratom but without the nausea.

I think I'll stick with my usual DOC. Having tried codeine, DHC, kratom and oral morphine, only the codeine has ever given me any euphoria. I must be a super-metaboliser of the highest order (do I get a certificate or anything?).

It may be that you took too much. I'd feel similar if i took too much codeine. Over-stimulanted one day n nodding the next. Save wasting it mayve try a smaller dose n if it still has a negative effect knock it on the head. But remember DHC is around 1.5 more potent than codeine so if you take 200mg codeine then 150mg DHC will still be stronger n thus have this effect. It may be, as you say that it's not for you - but my advice would be to try a smaller dose another time.

HR wise, with you being an addict I'd disregard all that bollox I've said above n not touch it again as it may lead to you doing stronger n stronger opiates. Above would be aimed at recreational users (added to prevent an arsekicking off mods hehe :) )

Don't think I overdid it, Eve. I can still take anywhere up to 400mg codeine and enjoy the experience. I'm just trying to keep my usage to a minimum, hence the 200mg doses.

I just don't think this substance is for me. It didn't even seem to help my shoulder injury. :(
 
I'll be fine, just a muscle problem. I'm undergoing physio, so should be healed in no time.

I REALLY want to try oxycodone now. Just to see whether my freakishness carries over to the supposed holy grail of pharmaceutical opioids.
