Would a dht blocker be any use for acne??
I've found you this from another forum:
For an 8 oz bottle:
-5.5 ounces Rubbing Alcohol
-2.5 ounces Witch Hazel (I use Hydrogen Peroxide)
-8 uncoated aspirin tablets
1. Mix all ingredients together in a clean bottle of some sort, so that you cake shake it up - which will break down the aspirin tablets.
2. Apply to cotton ball and wipe the area where acne is most present
3. Each time you use the solution, you'll probably want to shake up the bottle.
Aspirin: "Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory - the salicylic acid (the same ingredient as in many acne treatments) in the aspirin also helps dry the pimple out and tighten your skin"
Rubbing Alcohol: "Rubbing alcohol has a host of uses, such as home cleaning, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, healing muscle sores and even burns"
Hydrogen Peroxide: "...skin surface, hydrogen peroxide is an antiseptic agent capable of killing off bacteria. It also serves as an exfoliants and can increase skin turnover. In acne treatment, only diluted solutions of hydrogen peroxide should be used. 3% hydrogen peroxide is the highest strength of the bleaching solution that should be applied on the skin."
You should expect results within a few days if applied 1-3 times per day. I do not have cystic acne, so I cannot speak on that. Furthermore, the solution does not have a pleasant smell, so I would advise washing your face with a cleanser roughly 10 minutes after cleaning your face with the astringent.
