After a few days of deliberating whether to become Joshyvibe or not, I decided to just be Josh.
roganjosh is a bit redundant now, the current bowel situation doesn't support much in the way of curry these days

Good morning everyone, I'm still in my jammies on my 3rd cuppa and not quite awake yet. Massive good sleep though, really feel my body was nourished by it. That and eating some re-baked leftover pizza at 2am with 2 benozos seems to have helped. I kinda forgot to eat the last few days

. I'd prepared all these spices, veg fresh ginger n' whatnot to make a Thai curry last night but there was no way that was happening after a meltdown... Anyway some substance has been returned for substance abused out-in-ish-ykwim

I baked a christmas cake yestrday as it happens, about as involved in the festive season as I get. All those currants, and a 5 tbps of brandy. The dark nights are really fucking with my mood these days, it's a struggle against myself to get out of bed in the mornings.

Tell me, I long for sunshine and uva (is that right? 8) Why do I live in this bloody hemisphere all year round. I need a get out winter plan, sell the house, downsize to a winibago or someit and travel south after Oct. Back April. It's killing me too - I can really feel it. Many be its an age thing but I can understand all that expat retirement chit chat now of older colleagues. However, I think I may be one of those who are going to get fucked on the pension plan thing. Wafffle...oops

SAD boxes are meant to work. You can get your own for home, but they're not cheap, or there's health spas and such that do them where you take all your clothes off to get maximum exposure to the 'good' UV rays.

Thinking about the name change thing I like minimalism and would just be Summer if I had my time again. Fucked if I'm donating £25 or whatever though, I can barely afford food, you can all donate money to me instead k? If I had £25 to just piss away I'd spend it on half a gram of coke and no hesitation. I havent had any for over a month, such a shite cokehead, when I get my loan again in Jan things will definitely improve

Try not to worry, FG. These are nice people who genuinely want to help. I was terrified that I'd meet the Brain Police and instead I met a doctor who put me at ease and listened to what I had to say. They'll want you off the shitty internet drugs, but that's a no-brainer really isn't it?
I went to an appointment today, and I think I almost got an unprofessional hug. There was definitely some unprofessional banter. Productive, though.

These appointments are always anxiety ridden but remember they are real people with their own things going on too - real humans like us
It's usually always ok if you are polite, honest and respectful of each other. These docs are specialists in their field, they've spent a long long time learning their art - think about what motivates them to do that.
