have yet to go to a hippy psytrance event... they seem rather uninteresting in these parts, and frankly a bit boring...

i actually engage the odd "regular", though it is usually when im on something... interestingly, they rarely is ever share my spanglyness and seem unimpressed to be recognized. still, makes for good stories..
 
Mm.. I guess if they're quite serious shindigs full of spiritually-enlightened people talking about pineal glands, then yeah.. I can see they might be boring. In the UK it's just where the fun people full of drugs go. Plus there's usually a second room/tent full of amazing dnb/breaks music.

couldnt have put it better myself actually. they also talk about the advantages of the outhose compared to the flushing toilet, and the way prayer is better than medical help. conversely, without medical knowledge they wouldnt even know about pineal glands but cant really argue with the esoterism of the unwashed

actually, im kind of fond of the normal old school hippy. but this relative new breed is what i like to call the dark hippy. in the same way that the rose tinted glasses of the free love generation of the 60s is replaced by the cold alien sheen of google glass, so do the relatively benign and somewhat wholesome ideas get hijacked into the dark extreme side of hippydom

Similar experience here. There are few people less interesting, engaging, genuine or open than seasoned hippies. Whether they're hippies of the pineal gland school or of the 'unabashed hedonism with a smile' persuasion. Or even a hybrid thereof.

I wish I were merely generalising, but it's the result of years (decades, even) of research.

I have better, more enlightening conversations with the auld fellas hobbling back from Mass, en route to the pub.

I quite like unabashed hedonism hippies, anyway.

Don't worry about me MDB ..Got this far just a bit of winter darkness clouding mood probably.

Bob you will get a load of responses to that question and you will get those that say you have to spend £200 for decent scales mimimum..I also can't find the thread. I have been through 6 sets of scales in last couple of years until I found these. They are Inflo proof, easy to use and calibrate and do not be put off by how cheap they are. I would say for the average RC user these will do you proud. These.

4 xanax down..vodka next and goodnight..mean it this time =D

just dont expect them to be truly .001 accurate... ;)
ive found there is little id any difference for scales at that price point. not that its a big problem, just remember to use liquid dosing for anything under 20 mg...
