I'm glad I stayed I like the site. I was one of them people who had been taking drugs from the mid 80's and didn't have a clue what a RC was.

WOW I bet there was a lot of withdrawals going down. I mean people could use DHC but Shambles tells me that wouldn't touch the sides to a heroin addict. So I guess that they came here looking for solutions, helping witg drawal or hoping for sourcing? Not everyone is aware of the no source rule until they register, eh.

Having spoken to some heroin users, they still struggle to believe that they can buy banging gear online. Its bait, its a con etc. Much like when I tried telling my mates about Meph before people knew about it. Its legal, it will be shite, have a line.....the rest is history.

Yeah I remember the threads were just turning in to blatant sourcing threads, even talking about individual dealers in certain areas lol. There was so many people discovering BL, just like when people found Meph. Its good though because its created some great posters. :)
 
I 'm sorry that I never had a chance to know EVAD. I talked to Brimz a few times on the phone n he talked to me about him, said they met within 3 weeks of talking, that EVAD was a smod n someone called Mugz too. It's dreadful tht so many have been lost here.
I 'm still upset over Knock's passing. I hope that no one else dies xxxx

It was a combination of all the things mentioned that and the Turkish firm that had bought gear into UK for 30 years getting taken out.
There's been other rumors about about Albanian chemists going out to Afghanistan and teaching them how to turn a kilo of opium into 20 Kg of the shit gear we were blessed with for a few years.
Who really knows ?

UK is the furthest away and hardest to get in to. If supplies are short and you can get the same price for your product in more easily accesible locations it makes no sense to bring it here.

A huge market like the UK, where money is to be made will always make sense to bring it here. In the eyes of the top boys there's no where that's pointless to bring it, specially with all the established routes and gangs. Us being an Island has never really effected our quality of drugs via the import route, as once its in Europe Its fucking easy. There was no drought in Holland, etc and even with links as old as the Dutch and still no gear. It does make you wonder though, maybe just how small a group of people are that are at the top.
 
Australia is the perfect example of this. It is even rumoured the Mexicans have mini subs that they launch off shore to get stuff in at a considerable profit

It's a simple issue of supply and demand. If you have something like a poppy blight the aggregate supply curve will shift to the left because input prices for making heroin will have risen, raising prices of heroin for everyone on the wholesale market. Why go to the effort of bringing it here if you can sell everything you have elsewhere without incurring the extra risk? Some people will choose to incur the extra risk meaning a small amount of product will get through, but between the shift in aggregate supply caused by the poppy blight and then a further shift to the left cause by people's unwillingness to bring it here when they can shift it elsewhere much more easily the wholesale price becomes vastly inflated. At a street level people still want to pay the same price they've always paid so we see exactly what happened, a massive drop in purity so the business is still profitable. There's fuck all about so people end up paying for shit if they like it or not. Your assumptions are based on an infinite supply in the factors of production, which obviously isn't the case. If the situation had have continued we probably would have seen the retail price of heroin rise sharply and become very expensive, as it is in Australia.

On a more philosophical note, ask yourself in whose interest it is to cut off supply to the UK on purpose? ....and perhaps more pertinently, if law enforcement have been failing at it for so many years how do you think anyone else is going to be able to instantly have such massive success at doing so?
