I did financial business economics at uni which I got a 2:1....I also did medicine but didn't finish that (dropped out second year).
Am hoping to complete my paramedic science degree soon.

I found the economics degree really boring though....do you enjoy it?

Better than being a fuckin' jackeen any day. ;) <3

EDIT: Says the British resident. :\

Haha that's true through!

Economics is pretty boring tbh. Especially microeconomics.

My polish dwellling associates have been lying to me:X

They were probably just expressing it in the simplest and most direct English they could think of, but 'bogaty' definitely means rich.

Increasingly no, it's becoming more and more about effectively utlising human intellectual, social and cultural capital.

I'm sure that if you can maintain that standard of nebulous bollocks in your chosen field, you'll go far. :D

Oh man I wish I felt that good. It was Okocim Mocne. I am told 'mocne' means strong.

Can't beat a bit of the Mocne Rebel. I'm more of a Debowe Mocne man myself, but Okocim will do at a push.

I've developed an allergy to beer. Boo.

Sitting here with a snotrag in one hand and a delicious beer in the other, all redeyed.

Have you discuss Maslow Hierarchy of Needs yet?
that sounds like something out of a middle school psychology class really.
thought it would get better in college...

anyway im way cheaper than sammy. theres little i wouldnt do for gold and whores

I can honestly say that after leaving my last economics exam I instantly forgot the whole three years..at the time I needed at least a 2:1 toget into medical school (which I managed literally by the skin of my teeth) but even thoughiI worked in NHS finance for 12 years after leaving medical school as a management accountant.... my economics degree has been of no practical use at all. It wasn't until I few years ago when I was working as a management accountant for the ambulance service that I realised that I wanted to be a paramedic and began persuing that career....I just wish I'd swopped over to doing this years ago as I really love it....its so fulfilling and rewarding....especially compared to finance work which I find totally unrewarding and boring

There was a lot of psychology in Crossroads, but I wouldn't watch it if you paid me in whiskey, gold and whores.

Thanks for sharing that with us Sammy G. I'm sure we'll all sleep better tonight having now learnt that A, there was psychology in croosroads n B, that you wouldn't watch it if you were paid :D

Lots of things are taught at high school but are still re-taught at college and university levels as there are different levels of learning. If there wasn't then there'd be no need for degrees n so forth. We'd all just finish school n that 'd be it. So the way in which Maslow is taught n studied will differ from school to college n from college to uni.
