Mutton is delicious, I prefer it to lamb I think. It's far superior in a curry and is delicious in western cooking too.

^^^ U eat food summer?...

In between eating babies. Unfortunately I have not reached the level of fabulousness where nourishment is no longer a necessity. But it'll come.

Sounds nice anyway Owen, do you cook proper stuff everyday or have a few days off? I always cook proper meals when I'm back at home but up at uni I can never be arsed so end up eating meals that are really quick to do. Guess it's because I don't have anyone else to cook for so I lose motivation a bit.

Lol no I don't cook properly every day, I'm too lazy, but I try to because it means a slightly more balanced diet. I eat out and eat a lot of takeaway though....not too bad at the moment though.

Ate the usual stuff the last week - (curries :D).

Had a great bean 'chili' last night and made a margarita granita just to calm the heat :D

Today - parsley gnocchi and having that in a roast garlic, garlic and caper sauce - serving that with home made focaccia :).

Homemade pizas are lush, especially if you make the base from scratch too as it tastes and smells so fresh and 'airy' (fluffy) if that makes any sense. I used to make them years ago when i was out of work for a while, with plenty of time to spare for warming up yeast dough and all that rigmarole, but as i can currently buy decent and tasty full size pizas for 89p from Aldi 5 minutes walk away its quite unlikely that I'll be making any more pizas from scratch any time soon. :\ If im feeling extra adventurous one day i might add some of my own extra toppings on top, like garlic, mushrooms, red onions, peppers or tomatoes. They really flavour up a plain cheese and tomato base very nicely.

I usually make my own pizza's from scratch - mind you if I could get a decent frozen one for 90p I would be eating them. Made Parsley Gnocchi for tea - had that in a Garlicy sauce with home made bread <3 - gorgeous.

Making gnocchi used to be the bane of my life.

Haha, you have to expand on that though :). Its 100 degrees + at the moment, like a numpty I was standing boiling and mashing potato as I was baking a loaf of bread :0 (got to say thought these parsley gnocchi were pretty much perfect :D)

Ah it just used to do my head in when I was working on garnish section in a certain restaurant where we used to use pan fried gnocchi as a pretty regular garnish. Getting enough of the fuckers cooked up during mis-en-place time was a right pain in the arse and it kind of takes over the entireity of the area you are working in so you can't do anything else at the same time.

Probably not as much as I hated having potato pancakes on the menu though, I almost lost my mind (and job) over those.

For future notice baking the spuds makes nicer gnocchi on the whole, easier to work with the potato as well because it's dry.

Up and down, you know how things are. I've not really posted in weeks until yesterday. You?

Today I have eaten:

Yogurt drink for breakfast
Bacon baguette dipped in to a bowl of cheesy beans
A frozen pizza

Should really eat some salad or fuit or some shit.

Of course I made the base from scratch, I'm a properly trained housewife ;) It was pretty lush, I don't have pizza often so when I do it's worth doing shit properly. I don't bother at all when I'm at uni due to shitty dirty shared kitchens so thought I'd make the most of being at home.

Making scones tomorrow if I'm not feeling too drug fucked to eat again.
