Fucking angry doesn't even begin to cover it...

My laptop broke in the most unlikely situation... I was out the room & my laptop was on a table with water beside it. One of our cats must have got caught in the cable, panicked & bolted, which in turn pulled the laptop off the table with the glass, which of course just happened to go into the laptop.

My parents think we'll be able to claim it on their insurance. Bloody well hope so.
 
Thing is, I don't mind being a bit cooler in the daytime but at night I like being super hot (as in, in the middle of summer I still cocoon myself in my duvet) so that's when it annoys me. And ponch, you're clearly just a shit boyfriend, you should be the one keeping her warm ;)

My attire would no doubt change if the temperature permitted it... or if I had company. Either way, what's underneath remains the same. (OOH ;)).

Sucks about the laptop Chat, more to the point though, I hope your cat's ok.
 
you sure it is broken? if its simple water, and not a lot of it, taking it appart and letting it dry at room temp for a while (couple of days) *might* salvage it a little bit. if you havent already tried turning it on ofc
 
girlfriend has wound me the fuck up, trying to say i'm not trying hard enough at my job when she dosen't know shit about it.

I took the HDD out & battery out turning it upside down. I tried it later & it wouldn't switch on. Put in the insurance claim (with excess :\) but the next morning it switched on. We talked to the insurance company & got some advice from our usual repair firm... Both said that even though it's working there will likely be damage & something will give sooner or later. The wireless card seemed to keep playing up for no reason, so I expect that was due to it. Insurance company said if I got it repaired/checked, it would be covered for a year for hardware faults, so seems worth it.

I think I had a missed call from the insurance company today but they might have called my dad whose number they also had since he was dealing with the claim.
 
The Mrs ( or Ex as she'd prefer from now on ) managed to fuck up the online check in for our flight home today. Got to the airport already in a terrible mood as im effectively homeless soon only to find out that to check in it was to cost €70 per person, being the useless junkie that I am I was the only one who had the money to pay, so €420 to get home :! Two of those people being my children mind...

Fuck you Ryan Air, never again.... :!
 
Homeless yet again. Why? Life being turned upside down again all because one person in the shared house finds himself, even at the age of 47 unable to say the word NO to people who blatantly take his kindness for a weakness and has been bringing idiots into the house day and night, having them shout up at his window day and night, disturbing me. Bringing people round to use drugs, his room is above mine so I can hear everything. I'm, at the moment doing really well and have managed to taper, and am relying on Valium to stabilise on my meth.

I've recently found out he's even been letting some working girl (prostitute) use his room for a quick hour ! She pays him a tenner, then sorts him out a pathetic 30ml......if he's lucky. She's currently done a runner with the keys, stupid bitch, and stupid bloke for giving her the keys!

The support worker (so he calls himself) has known about the idiotic behaviour of this boy for a year, we've been begging him to do something about it, but has not had enough of a back bone to deal with it until now, which is too much to little to late! Just as I get myself together, me and my boyfriend, I'm thrown another thing to deal with! It's looking like i'm going to have to go back into a girls hostel, or some sort of hostel, which I'm too vulnerable for at the moment, I don't want to be surrounded by prostitutes and other addicts. This is not the time to be separated from my boyfriend either! I need friends more than ever at the moment, but where are they!!!???

I don't even have fucking internet access, this is the first time i've used a computer in weeks!
 
At least it's not prison H? Disassociate yourself from alcoholics (excuse my presumption for them taking a part), crack heads , junkies et al. Easier said than done? Fuck it. It has to be done. You're getting too old for this shit.

Believe me, there have been times recently when I've thought, put me back into prison again for another 5 weeks to sort my head out, and i'll be housed when I come out. That's what happened last time! Logically, I know this is just my desperation thinking.

I don't associate with alcoholics, i'm managing quite well when it comes to substances that are destructive (ish) I just don't want to end up back in a hostel surrounded by them!!!

Internet cafe literally closing now, so I must go.

Im annoyed that my BL account was logged into yesterday. And, unless in my zombievirusridden state I managed to do it while having no internet access ive forgotten about logging in, then the shenanigans I already knew were happening are still happening.

Anyway, whomever it was, bet that's the first decent erection (or girlie boner) youve had n a decade.

^ Are you sure it wasn't your phone? If your phone is connected to the 'net, and bluelight is on one of your browser windows, it may connect even though you didn't navigate through the page.
