Hello~

My name is Aurelia and I just smoked some very black heroin for the first time in my life. I am 58 years old.

I am prescribed five 30 mg oxys a day, I take usually three or four. I've been on it for about six years. I have been disabled for six years.

I have a great deal of pain from several herniated discs, arthritis throughout my whole spine (DDD), Foraminal stenosis, a torn rotator cuff tendon after two unsuccessful surgeries, very arthritic knees, and an overlying body pain that started when I was 32.

The reason I tried heroin today was that oxycodone will make you over sensitive to painful stimuli, and even make things that normally wouldn't really hurt, painful. My pain level is so high now that I want to get away from the oxy, but it's the only thing that works for the serious pain that I have from my broken body. I'm trying to find a serious pain reliever that doesn't have that side effect. Suboxone might work, but I haven't tried it yet.

We got half a gram of black and did the Chase the Dragon method of smoking it. Nothing happened, and boy is it horrible tasting! I am doing only a little at a time to see what works. There's still some left, so I'll have it as well.

I've never been addicted to anything in my life except my husband of twenty four years, who is now in his eighth year of metastasized prostate cancer. He has a pain medicine for cancer patients called Fentora, a fizzy that goes between cheek and gum and gets rid of all pain instantly. One 600mcg is about the same as fifty mg of oxy. I can't get those because though my pain is worse than his, I don't have cancer, so I don't count. My pain doc won't give me any more oxycodone because the DEA is all over the doctors here, looking for over prescribers. So I keep my tolerance down and only take all five in a day if I have a lot to do.

I have a huge aversion to needles so shooting it is out of the question.

Now that you know me, I'll post a topic about this situation with a bunch of questions.

Thank you for reading this.

Welcome I was addicted to oxy for a long time I was up to 500mg a day then I got cut off and went to heroin started doing 3-4 grams a day of IV China white heroin and I have to say it was the worst lifestyle a person could lead. I live with pain too from a herniated disc and diverticulitis but now I make do with Suboxone and some Tylenol here and there along with smoking hashish here and there.

Did the heroin smoking help your pain level at all?

Thank you so much for answering, 10102. I noticed there are not that many replies to people's quests here. The same on a pain site we go to. It saddens me.

But I smoked about a little over a quarter of a gram and nothing happened. There's still about an eighth left and I'm going to have that too. . .

Well, not much happened. They say it should be noticeable in five minutes. Boy it tastes foul! Jeeze, no wonder people shoot it. Doesn't burn, though.

And the thread I read I can't remember where, where a guy was questioning another's claim that he was doing $1500.00 in a day, has me stymied. It's only $80.00 a gram for the black here in the southwest of the US. I'm totally in the dark about this, as I've just been on nothing but prescribed drugs for years. And our insurance and Medicare pay for almost all of it. I do know that my husband's Fentora is close to $12,000 for 150 tablets, a months worth. It's paid for, thank heaven.

I was taking 480 mgs of oxy back in the good old days before the DEA got so excited and then the next thing I know, I've got a month to go down to 150. I had no problem since I don't get addicted to things. All that happened was I hurt terribly again. But eventually I adjusted and now I keep my intake as low as I can stand to, and sometimes take a week off and titrate down to nothing, just to get my tolerance back down. But those are the times when I just stay in bed and try to sleep. My doc says it takes six months for it to be completely out of your system.

What's the difference between black and China white? Probably like pot, just different nuances.

Please tell me about Suboxone. Do you crave sweets like on oxy? Constipated? How's your memory? Are you really sensitive to things hitting you or little pains? Like when a friend bopped me on the arm jokingly, it hurt. Do you have to titrate off of oxy first before you start it? What side effects does it produce?

Thank you so much for writing. Write back quick!

Well thank you so much, Captain.

I've noticed this site has very few really interactive members. On a pain site I was on several years ago, everybody knew everybody and we acquired good friendships from it. That changed all of the sudden when all it was was people trying to id pills they'd found and a lot of users (or narcs) looking to buy drugs. All the old gang disappeared. A few of them said it got too negative. I remember when I quit it had a bunch of new, really antagonistic members. Always seemed to be a fight going on and the mods weren't stopping them. So I'm looking for a new place and though this one has more down right hard core drug addicts on it than I like listening to, there's a hell of a lot of information here. Whoever came up with it filled an empty niche. Pretty smart.

So I hope you write back. I hope ANYBODY writes to me!

Perhaps your doctor could prescribe something else besides oxycodone. There are other drugs that are longer lasting. You could being that up to him next time and explain they are not helping the way they did before. Wish you the best and welcome to Bluelight!

I don't know very much about the pain aspect of it since i only ever did h for recreational purposes. Suboxone is primarily used for the treatment of opiod and opiate addicted people. I've known a couple of people who were on it for pain but mostly it was people who were trying to get off the hard core pain meds or the heroin. Suboxone blocks pretty much any other opiate from being able to attach to your receptors so unless you plan on getting off of all of your other medications and pretty much sticking to suboxone only, i wouldn't recommend it. It wouldn't be nearly as good for pain as what your currently on and really kind of fucks shit up if your trying to take any other opiate or opiod medication. Im currently on it and when i tried to binge on h a couple of weeks ago the suboxone made it impossible. If your looking for something that can kill your pain there are many better medications out there than suboxone. The only reason i could think of that would make sense to take it for pain is if you are trying to get off of your other meds. It works really well at stopping withdrawals in there tracks and has a really long half life. Thats all I got for ya good luck!

Thank you for writing, Mod T.

I have tried methadone as an adjunct to the oxy, by itself, and fentanyl patches, which ruined my memory. Also I was able to try Oxy Contin which worked like a charm, but then the price went up to five hundred dollars for a months supply, WITH insurance and a coupon, and my doctor at the time changed it back to the equivalent oxy, and the DEA yanked his license. So I've tried everything they allow and am stuck here. I asked for MS Contin and he said he will have to stop the oxy, though I would need it for breakthrough pain. He's scared to death of prescribing anything else and when I first saw him he immediately dropped me to half of what I was on and after going through hell for a month he raised me a small amount. I've heard good and bad about Suboxone, so I haven't tried it yet either. So I spend a lot of time in bed rather than take more pills, thus raising my tolerance. The DEA thinks anyone on oxy is automatically a junkie street person and should be completely cut off. There are millions of us legitimate little old ladies who are in terrible pain and go strictly by the doctors advice, but they discount us completely.

Thank you for the welcome.

Thank you Tye~

That is what I've understood about Suboxone, and if I were taking oxy for fun and wanted to quit it, that's what I'd do. But I can't take the back, shoulder and knee pain I have for more than four days without a serious pain reliever.

The heroin just seemed like it should work, from everything I've heard and read, but I'm not going to spend a bunch of money finding out how to kill pain with it. We are both on disability and can't afford it.

But I really appreciate your knowledgable input. Thank you!

You DID write back! That makes me so happy!

I have a pal in Florida that is on MS Contin with a substantial amount of oxy to back him up. Why can't I get that here in New Mexico?

I went so far as going to the Board of Pharmacy office and asking them what is in place for legitimate pain sufferers and he said nothing, that the DEA even told THEM what to do. When I asked where the DEA's office was, he said you can't get in, they only communicate by email, there is no phone number, and the place has an eight foot tall fence with razor wire all along it all the way around the building. A little paranoid, methinks. And I don't want to write to them or they might figure out who my doctor is and crawl up his butt. I'm sure they can look into anyone's computer they want, they're on a level with the FBI, and now I may be sounding paranoid, but I'm not taking a chance.

Are you well enough versed in dosages to tell me how much black heroin will give me the high I'm looking for if I take 120mgs of oxy a day for the last six years? The sixth of a gram I took sure was a bust. That was a gram for 80 dollars. What's the price where you are? Are you indeed in Canada? Notice the way this format doesn't capitalize when it's supposed to?

This memory problem also happened to me. Now in regards to Oxy, it´s getting very difficult to get some. And I mean for breakthrough pain, not to get high.

P.S. Captain, I want to know what you've written and what you're writing. I will write till my fingers cramp.

I posted a description of my novel as such...

My novel is about two females, who narrowly escaped assassination plotted by government agencies, and as a result became assassins themselves. It follows their life and chronicles the downfall of the US government, and eventually most of the developed world. I would reveal more about the plot but it would involve giving a lot of the story away so I'll leave it at this.

I recognize my novel as containing various different literary genre themes, such as action, romance, thriller, science fiction, mystery, and horror. I hope to transcend any one literary genre by employing a repetitive cycle of all of the above, and possibly more as I hope to also include historical content/etc.

The content of the novel goes over the lives of the inner group of people (the two main female characters of which are in this group) who shape and sculpt the world in the way they see fit, after escaping the dystopian reality they faced.

Would you like to read some of it?

Hi Aurelia!

I'm new also :) When I first read your post I immediately wanted to suggest mild exercise to alleviate pains (I'm a personal trainer and own a fitness studio in NYC... Exercise is my "go-to" for most aches and pains... ) however, it sounds like it's gone beyond that. I wish I could help! Have you tried physical therapy combined with pain management meds?

How exercises can help? I´m interested because sometimes the pain prevents me to exercise. How does it help you?

Sometimes pain can come from underuse of weak muscles/overuse of dominant ones... Causing imbalance, joint pain, etc. when corrective exercise is used - gently and proactively at first - it helps to correct the muscular/joint imbalances, thus alleviating the pain.

This is may not be your situation, but I've dealt with many people that has been helped by this. It's always worth a try:)

Outside of exercising there's physical therapy, alternative pain meds from what u have already tried while u medically fix the issue, etc.

i know that seems like I'm trying to give a cut and dry answer, and I also realize that sometimes it's NOT so cut and dry. I just wanted to share what I've experienced. I hope some of this helps!
