I think it's more connected to the latter, immigration to Britain and America - people in Poland seem to think England is the golden land where they'll make their fortune and have no problems ever. They tend to arrive and then end up in a shitty job with just about money to get by, and stuck with not enough money to really move up, but also too much pride in their dream to admit it didn't work out and give up and go home. Heard the same story from so many people now.

As a result though although the Polish in the UK are a bit less starstruck in thinking that it's going to be all milk and honey, the ones still in Poland tend to still have that perception and so the minute they hear someone's come from their dream country to their country instead they're all confused and want to know why, and slightly excited to see someone from there.

It's a bit silly really but it has earned me more free booze and other drugs than I've even paid for in my entire time here, so I won't complain :D

Anyway how's everyone holding up tonight? Bit off-topic but does anyone here play Poker (No Limit Hold 'Em to be precise)?

@Jesusgreen: I play poker from time to time. I used to play it more some time ago, even online, though i prefer it in person with a couple of friends. Im not particularly good or anything but its another way to get that dopamine showin'

I met a handfull of poles in my last job, the entire cleaning crew were Polish, they were all very pleasant and friendly, apparently the money they could earn over here waas quite a bit more than they could earn back home, so one of them was over here mainly just to send money back to his family.
 
Around the clock booze speed and meph mashup at friends house, got back here a few hours ago, no sleep yet. feeling pretty good. stomach is hurting though. Hows everyone today, all good i hope
 
just got a totally free gram eph and 10 pink pellets which i think are the daz ones sorted vendor this new guy i am using free stuff with every order i make and now this didn't even hint or ask he just sent it guess helps being one of his first customers if not the first he had :)

I've spent the last week and a half waiting for autumn to really creep up, and all of a sudden it's too warm to wear leather in the early afternoon. Whereas last week I was contemplating a scarf.

Not complaining (even though I kind of am). It's just the first time I've ever made the transition from summer to autumn so easily, only to get a reminder that summer's still here. Britain. <3
