Ugh. Me and booze need to stop being... acquiantances. We haven't been friends for a very long time but the cunt continues to lurk. The lurky cunt :sus:

Fingers firmly crossed that proper drugs arrive soonest :!

Just about to settle down & watch Yojimbo with the old man. Will be the first old samurai film I've seen. Meant to be a classic.

It is. One of many inspirations for the original Star Wars (amongst other things). Kurosawa never set a filmic foot wrong that I'm aware of. Ran is one of his finest films if you've not seen that one.

Hey shambles how ru
I need to get in touch with a smod or preferable admin about that issue we discussed how can i find them?

Hey Sham Miss A team tore you a new anus last night must be sore sitting down. Sore head ? The demon booze does bring about the demon in you(and many others)

She did indeed. Much of which I'd agree with to be honest. If I was less of a drunken arse at the time I presumably could've made my point in less aresholish fashion but was what it was and things can only ever move on when shaken up so perhaps it'll turn out for the best. This is why my actual arse is not sore. Anything and everything is a chance for improvement so all things are ultimately Good Things :)

I will repeat (whilst sober) genuine apologies for any crossed lines along the way of course <3

Hahaha

S'all good.

Do you mean your point about addiction or your point about my college course?

It made for unusual reading Sham as it is so out of character for you. I can remember having some terrible day after booze cringes years ago. I would invite loads of randoms around and blast out the tunes with a woofer and all. Often the next day when I was going to the shop I'd get an earful off some neighbours. The walk of shame to the shop. Loads of booze + coke hangovers after making a tit of myself. Never liked that stuff but would hover it up when drunk years ago as it was everywhere and had less consequences then staying up all night doing pills.

Coke zero anyone ?

It was also a moment of national pride to see Miss A team in action as I'm also Irish.

Likewise haha, many booze cringes. waking up with a deep feeling of guilt and regret but not being able to remember why, then get a phone call "How you feeling, do you remember this last night hahaha... blah blah"

As far as shitty drunken moods go, it occurred to me shortly after why that may (and probably still is) the case. I have my reasons. They are not reasons I feel the need to go into in any great detail but any who have knowledge of my relatively recent history can probably work it out. It begins with a capital 'C' and ends in a capital 'D' :|

S'all good.

More the latter. The former you were simply wrong on. At least in the form you originally phrased it - when you reiterated it you added the crucial clause about the difference between psychological and physical addictions which was not present originally and is what irked me so. The latter point is the one that intrigued me. I still fail to see how economics can be anything other than an abomination of pseudoscience - a degree in fortune telling and theft essentially - but as you defended it so vehemently I would be interested to see how my views could be amended on this topic.

Im still hurting over here as well Shambles. I spent all night watching romantic comedies, but even Hugh Grants English charm couldnt cheer me up.

Because we need people who can talk the talk. Not sure what your political views are... leftist economists are few and far between, but they're the ones who will be listened to when it comes to debunking the prevailing thatcherite policies.

I'm not necessarily a marxist, but he wouldn't have been able to advance economic theory without studying, and critiquing, the prevailing ideas of the time.

Granted, 90% of economics students I've met have either started as avaricious, soulless twats, or become them in the end, but some remain socialist and can argue it from a more convincing standpoint than gut instinct and regurgitating mantras by rote.

I'm not a fan of Marxism either to be honest. The big problem with econmic theory is that it doesn't work in practice. Ever. None of 'em to date anyway. If somebody can create a new economic theory that works in practice and achieves some level of balance and stability I'd be all for it. I sincerely doubt anybody studying current economic theory and putting any faith in any of it would be capable of that due to being in thrall to falsehoods. I'd love to be proven wrong of course :)

Haha glad to hear it! I think I already knew that for some reason.

I was there last night when it happened and
as a 13 year IRISH member of eadd(including my 1st acc) i never seen nuthing like that Class-a-team more than gave a good account of herself.
Irish pride B-)
