I fucked up through drinking last night and my wife's kicking me out tomorrow 8(

Really don't want to stay with my mother so looks like I might end up in a fucking travelodge til we work things out

Only been married 10 months and I was very happy :(
 
Aw CC. Everyone has their fuckups, we wouldn't be human if we didn't. I know it's cliché but things really are never as bad as you think. I was pretty much the lowest I'd ever felt last weekend, felt like everything was completely pointless and shit and just couldn't be fucked with it. Two days later I woke up smiling and feeling more human than I have for ages without drugs. Things change in a blink of an eye - now you've had a bad change, you're due a good one. If you were happy before I'm sure you can work things out. She must love you, wouldn't have married you if she didn't I wouldn't think so I can pretty much guarantee this isn't it for you. And after the shit times, the good ones will be even sweeter. Stay strong, best wishes your way :)

I really hope so. I went on a booze bender and fell asleep on my train, woke up in Brighton and found a house party got so pissed I climbed into an (empty) bed at a party then went out on the piss with my new friends the next day rather than go back to my wife.

I am not a cheater, it's not my thing at all, but she suspects the worst and says if you drink so much that you end up in situations like that maybe you cheat and you don't know it. LOL I'm hardly a Lothario

All of that sounds perfectly forgivable to me. Selfish maybe, but who isn't selfish sometimes? Nothing you did should cause any lasting damage relationship wise because as you said, it's not like you cheated or anything.

As for the cheating thing though, think it's something most women get paranoid about. At the back of their mind they generally know it isn't actually true but the 'cheating husband' is such a common thing on tv programmes/in books etc that they question themselves and become convinced that their worries aren't completely unfounded.

Having never even had a relationship I'm probably not the best one to be giving advice but as a woman I think your wife just needs reassuring that she can trust you. You've only been married 10 months, should be a lot of love still there so just show her that. Remind her why she married you at all.

In the morning I'm sure I'll wake up in full fabulous cunt mode once more. Don't worry.

As for the relationship thing I've concluded it's because I have ridiculously high standards (I hate everyone) so I'm rarely even interested in blokes. I do think it would be nice though, it's just the liklihood of me finding someone I trust who is actually also into me is pretty low from what I've seen so far. You never know though eh?

I work in a very boozy industry so it's pretty commonplace, even at lunchtime.

Quite sensible restrictions are being introduced to limit th power consumption of vacuum cleaners to 1600 watts (with a further reduction planned in future) and obliged manufacturers to display an energy efficiency label. This is being done across the EU, so nobody gets an unfair advantage. And naturally, the tabloid press are painting this as EU interference in the day-to-day lives of citizens.

A vacuum cleaner provides almost the perfect cover under which to do this, as there is already a supply of moving air to use for cooling. Your new "1500 watt" vacuum cleaner might be using 500 watts for cleaning and wasting the remaining 1000 watts as heat (33% efficiency). A better motor (80% efficiency, but more expensive to manufacture) might be able to deliver 500 watts of movement while only wasting 100 watts as heat; but to the gullible public, a 1500 W. / 33% efficient vacuum cleaner looks like a better prospect than a 600 W. / 80% efficient cleaner, because it's using more power.

(Declaration of interest: As a child, I would often help my father field-strip the motor of a "new" second-hand vacuum cleaner and fit new brushes. Used Hoover Juniors could be had for peanuts in the 1970s, and motor brushes have never been expensive. These motors were about half a horsepower (375 W.), judging by their size; call it 400 W. It would be reasonable to suppose an efficiency of 80%; so about 80 W. of heat and 320 W. of movement.)

Only in Britain could people unite behind the manufacturers who are ripping them off to high heavens, demanding loudly their right to be ripped off to even higher heavens if they want .....

O@cc some women are just more prone to be jealous despite the behaviour of their partner. Im a geeky kind of guy and still ive been suspected of courting others in spite of not being a party animal or a big drinker.
Perhaps shes mpre concerned that you can let yourself go like that in the first place. 2 days of partying and drinking with unlnown people instead of going home to your wife will raise suspicions for many.
I hope you can work things out and im sure you can, but perhaps she ll be expecting a little chamge in you too...

Ime, there s someone for everyone out there, and not just a single person either, no reason to compromise too soon or lose hope if in a dead end relationship. Imo, you only live once, and being happy yourself is the important bit ;)

I'm 19 kingme. Got that bitter and miserable thing going for me nice and early ;) I agree there's someone for everyone, I'm the type that is really picky because deep down I'm waiting for that one true love thing and don't think it's worth bothering with anything less. But at the same time I don't think I'm going to find that now and I'd prefer not to compromise. And won't.

Also, I didn't remember posting that last night, emotional mephy Summer haha. Anyway.
