Gibberings CLXXV - Talk about Phil Mitchell

Swearing at and losing her temper with other members again. There was a time such things would have been overlooked in EADD, and shit storms were allowed free reign, i dont think its a personal vendetta gainst Evey, it just seems that the rules are being enforced strictly currently, presumably because there has been a lot of ugly shitstorms recently, and Evey wasnt the only one involved in them, some of them had nothing to do with her atall, but she seems to keep on breaking the rules more often than most other people. At risk of sounding like a pompous twat she does need to learn to self-edit at least a little bit, if she's gonna ever go longer than a few days without getting banned again. It will be a very lengthy ban next time, if there is a next time.

Shitstorms were never allowed free reign, except for a short (horrible) period where EADD went 'uncensored'. Prior to that, most disputed were resolved by a <snip> and a "take it to PMs", before any official action was taken. It worked - personal beefs weren't allowed ro ruin threads for everybody else.

Maybe the current disciplinary action is the result of people refusing to toe the line with the less formal approach? If so, I see no problem with that.

Yes they were. Maybe before you were born, but there was an EADD before you that functioned perfectly alright. People called each other cunt without WW3 breaking out or some sad bastard calling "But what about the rules?"

That is when MDB got off the phenazepam makes me remember Cornish again and that I miss reading his posts "

Without consciously intending to receive as much attention as i did during that time, much of it negative attention, does that mean that some of my phenazepam rants were enjoyable or entertaining for those that could bare to read them :? (I doubt it, i cant bare to read them myself). I hope i didnt put too much of a downer on things during that period, i know i created a lot of animosity and shit, and many of my posts were completely fucking deranged. It seems to me that i annoyed people more intensly with my bupe taper whinging than i did with my phenazepam lunatic posts. The people that were on my case during my phenazepam rages were mostly trolls long since banned, i cant remember what the regulars like PTCH and ColtDan said that upset me so much that i blocked them, but i really have no recollection of most of that period. And no grudges are harboured towards them atall.
 
Lol, that post about sept 2013 clearly wasn't referring to your phenaz spell.

I remember being a massive dick to you haha, then feeling a bit bad when it turned out you were sound when off the phenaz.

For an idea of what you were like, look at Eve's post where she gets the wrong end of the stick then goes fucking mad with it and won't listen to anyone explaining that she's misunderstood things... then multiply that by about 300 ;)
 
Haha what's happened now, does this forum ever go a day without drama? I wasn't even here this time, impressive.

If Evey's been banned though about fucking time. In terms of being a cunt to people you really need some limits. I manage it, I've only had one warning since I've been here and that was for something else anyway.

Anyway, Swindon was more fun that I could handle and now I need a drink to calm myself down. Have some love

haha, yeah, i have re-read my antidepressant interactions thread, that was the only one that i could bare to re-read. I think thats probably why im relatively supportive of Evey, as i dimly remember what its like to fly off the handle and lash out at everyone over nothing worth getting upset about at all.

Sam I'm confused by your post, it seems to me that EADD is becoming more formal or clinical now than it used to be. Do you mean that bans are now somehow handled more privately and discreetly than they used to be :?

Lol i just skim read the first page, and apart from my typos i wasnt doing too badly untl i started to loose the plot halfway through the first page for no reason as people werent even being unkind, i was clearly being humoured for the most part. I dunno why i started the thread with a gun "smiley/symbol" thing though. I dont normally do that. My antidepressant interactions thread was far more embarrasing than that one. :o
