It's part of US talk show / light entertainment culture; you can trace it back to Dean Martin and others. Plus he probably is just a bit of a dickhead anyhow.

Unfortunately, Chris Evans and Jonathan Ross decided to import that same dickheadishness.

Why did you create shows where in folks short of a chromosome can bring their dysfunctional families and friends into a studio to do battle while the equally retarded audience whoop and cheer as these fucktards attack one another...

Americans love to steal pens. When I worked in an office, we went through so many pens that we started the chain thing. Several times I would come into work and found the chains gone with the pens. We are terrible thieves.

Isn't it pretty normal to leave the doors open while a business is open? The exception being pawn shops where they buzz you in.

Ultra leftist? (or even leftist?) are you joking? (i know you're not). Michael Moore, Ralph Nader and (say) Danny Glover are arguably a bit left wing, but they're by no means ultra-leftists by any objective measure; so letterman can't be can he?

If they're ultra-leftists, what term do you use for eg the Weather underground? (mega-super-duper-leftist?)

I mean the Democrats aren't even left wing (just slightly less horrible right wing (like our new labour)). All the mainstream parties in both our countries are neoliberal - don't be fooled by the 'liberal' - they are very firmly right wing capitalists (liberal is used here in the economic sense, not being nice to people)

Maybe watch less fox news...;)
