Scary stuff - not that often you hear of bomb scares in Amsterdam. I think I may be in Amsterdam in a few weeks time - travelling soon and looking like Helsinki Via Copenhagen / Amsterdam. Not sure yet though :)
 
Deffo should be banned... just read there was odds of 175/1 on a betting website, some people have won a load of money

I'm so up for a night out its not even funny. It's been almost 3 weeks now, I'm dying. Might take myself up to fabric on Saturday, wish I had someone to go with though.
 
I wish my body/ brain would stop feeling tired and dull during the day and extremely hyper and creative at night, makes for terrible sleeping hygiene :|

Anyway, morning all! Last day of incessant thesis writing in solitary confinement today, some final tuning and tweaking tomorrow and a weekend of non-stop partying after <3

It will be good to have it finished before the weekend so the partying can begin. Lazy day for me today - weekend starts tomorrow but its going to be a very quiet one as I want to travel soon.

Mini-Snoo for me this morning - my Sonisphere ticket arrived! Getting pretty close now.
 
Sonisphere snoo indeed. What time are you gonna be there til? they're running an Ultimate Power rock ballads/cheese night after the bands.. am rather looking forward to that. :D
 
Sounds right up my street! Gonna give it a miss this year, but seeing Dream Theater at Sheffield City Hall on 5th July kinda makes up for it.
 
Stll undecided whether to get a ticket to go and see The Pixies at Castlefield bowl soon, tickets still available, it seems to be "no seating plan availabe" which is good, not a huge fan of seated concerts atall, much prefer the free for all scrum to either arrive early enough to get a good spot or just barge your way through one way or another to get a good spot. £41.25 a ticket though, and the gig starts at 5pm, very strange timing. :? Anyone seen The Pixies live, are they a good live band?

I've seen em twice- you won't be disappointed. If you are a fan, to see em.
I knew someone that saw them in the early 90s, and post-reformation - and said they play better now.
Though I'm not sure if Kim deal is still in the band?
Either way, they're great IMO

I have to get a train back to London after the last performance. I think the last train is at like midnight, so I won't have much time to faff around...
