ask an American anything

Malt liquor = barley wine = super strength 'lager'. They're all the same thing, marketed differently.

As for Americans being shite at lager, that's no longer true.

Yes, the majority of the country down gallons upon gallons of Miller Shite, Buttwiper and all the big commercial brews, and the hipsters drink Pabst Blue Ribbon, which is like their equivalent of (gags) Stones Bitter. However, there are so many craft brewers of such distinction that I now consider the US to be lager's second home (after Germany - Czech BLers please look away in disgust).

Your local supermarket will sell Brooklyn Lager. Try it. Really. Not only is the bottle designed by the same guy who did the 'I <3 NY' design, but the drink is phenomenal, and that's only one prominent example of contemporary US brewing excellence.

I don't think 'keg parties' happen outside of movies and really posh / backwater areas. Or at least I hope not.

Ah right, fair does. I'll give it a shot. I've always just written off American lager as being Miller-esque watery shite.

Europeans love lidocaine so much that they're willing to pay >£100 a gram for it. :D

Haha

What kind of gun(s) have you got?

Why are you such pussies that you require fentanyl for tooth removal operation? Where I live, numbing agents like lidocaine are the way to go.

Fent? Oh jumpin' Jesus! I just get lidocaine too, although usually I tell them in advance I'm a bit of an odontophobe so they tell me to come in a half-hour earlier and take a Dormicum.

Do you think gun laws should be tightened in America or do you think its wrong that they trying to take your guns? I see they supplying bullet proof blankets to some schools now in case of another mass shooting. kinda sad
The mental health issues along with many cultural issues need to be resolved. So many ways to commit mass murder guns are just the easiest atm The second amendment is very important to learned Americans b/c it was included to protect its citizens from tyranny. History has proven time and time again that it is very easy for a government to become oppressive/ overbearing and our ability to bear arms is a very basic safe guard. The only people that stand against it are the emotionally rash far left, people in the media with an agenda, politicians with agendas, and other various lemmings.
Personally, yes I believe we should have stricter gun laws. Background checks and limits on what type of guns can be sold. I feel our second amendment was neccessary at the time of the constitution's writing but holds little validity in modern America. But it is not going to change. Too many support it. I am sure some of my countrymen will be alng to say otherwise on my thoughts.
Various lemming imo bless her heart though^

'FTW' = 'For The Win' - it's a bit of a crap acronym really, and i spent ages thinking it stood for 'Fucks The World' which in my opinion is much better and still appropriate...

I have never heard anyone say that in real life in the way its used online your right it is crap!

First of all, I am a he. Secondly, how am I a lemming? If anything my viewpoint is in the minority, especially in the American south where we both live. Thirdly, do you honestly believe all the guns in America could do a damn thing against the American government if it had military support?

'The Second Amendment was based partially on the right to keep and bear arms in English common-law and was influenced by the English Bill of Rights of 1689. Sir William Blackstone described this right as an auxiliary right, supporting the natural rights of self-defense, resistance to oppression, and the civic duty to act in concert in defense of the state' ( "Blackstone's Commentaries on the Laws of England - Book the First - Chapter the First: Of the Absolute Rights of Individuals, page 139")

We no longer have this right, why are so many Americans so insistent on keeping theirs? I see the 2nd amendment as just an excuse for a bunch of rednecks to go whoopin' an' a hollerin' with their automatic rifles blasting fuck out of anything that moves. Unfortunately, many of those rednecks are now extremely rich and powerful...

I look at an assault rifle as the modern day equivalent to a sword. The US is vast, not all military are going to get on board with a tyrannical government, the point is you use the basic weapons to acquire larger weapons. Arguing the semantics is silly I just pride myself on being on the right side of the argument and not the politically fashionable one.

History is history, we no longer live in the past (well, not all of us anyway ;)). Anyway, surely America is too busy fighting tyrannical regimes abroad to bother about oppressing its people?

'Broseph'? Well that's a new one to me - just had to look it up...

So what are you doing with your guns to combat your overbearing tyrannical government? How do you have time to post on here when you're obviously waging some sort of guerrila war?
