Gibberings CLXX: Cocks will get blocked.

Some jakey has set fire to a skip not far from my flat... went to have a wee look. Obivously something fairly combustible in it... pretty big flames.

I've had to close my windows because the wind was blowing this way... that's how I first noticed it, could smell the smoke. :!

Mod can see my post and have my full consent to make it public - I was simply messin

Like I said Bear, all is good.

Yeah I think LWT was impossible to get hold of for a good few years before getting rereleased. It's now available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbRZHqtl6lQ

DDS - All City! I would love a chance to see Underbelly. It looked like it had loads of yard action.

What kind of era was the film you had? Any particular writers?

I remember getting quite sketched out after 7/7 when thinking how regularly graffiti writers got into train/tube yards....

I can't remember for the life of me the details of the film, I remember it featuring Diet and Drax. It was UK and Euro walls, and UK and Euro steel. There is some geezer I can Email to find out, which I will do. London Tonight is worth a watch if you have not already seen it. Prefer keeping mags and Books though, Taps book is good.

@Sam I think you were horrible to Marmalade during the time she mentioned. Some of your posts at the time were downright nasty. This is coming from someone albeit not a regular at the time I did speak up for you a few times during the Farmaz era so I don't have it out for you but I think your in denial about the way you behaved towards Marmalade.

Cheers for that acknowledgement Joe <3

I was just trying to point out Marmalade felt she had some reason for her opinions and it wasn't arbitrary bullying.

You too Rasmond <3

I guess I should post a horrid pic of my leg post op tis EADD afterall :-

Holy mother-fucker! That looks intense. Have the stitches started to itch yet?

Possibly Steel Injection?

Also failing to see the point, want to take over from me?

Don't know what I'm supposed to do here. If you take away the posts with senseless childlike bickering in, you get accused to over censorship. If you leave them in then the mods aren't doing their job properly.

Perhaps if the forum members actually made conversation about interesting, relevant topics, rather than constantly dragging up who supposedly said what about who God knows how many months ago, then it wouldn't feel like the forum was being so badly moderated.

As it stands it's hardly surprising none of us want to post here much at the moment.

Pretty much. EADD was a lot more lax until recently and policed itself, and we had a lot more people posting. Then this weird drama started up and if we UA posts people call conspiracy, if we infract people, we get abuse, we can't be everywhere at once and now whereas once someone would post something out of line and get called out by the other members, now it seems to be outright abuse half the time. It's been a shit year for the forum, and we're just constantly going over old ground. Same people, same arguments.

Whatever is done is done, as shit as that is. Pointless dwelling and fighting over the same stuff every other week.

awwww I felt sorry for the mods here.

They are metal staples and they did start to itch like MF, they got taken out a week or more ago now and it's healing well just having to take extra care I don't end up getting Psoriasis starting on it but seems OK at the MO.

I think these things look much more dramatic than they really are, they didn't intend to open the whole leg up in one but apparently one of the screws wouldn't come out. The consultant made it sound very medical but as a person that indulges in oily mechanical things in the garage ( make of that what you will ;)) they rounded the slots out and had to dig in and grab hold of the thing with a pair of pliers :D

Nice to see you back about the place<3

....and good morning to you Ms Evey

Morning all.

I had another Op on my leg 17th May, they pulled all the metal work out so the bone can kinda heal before they break it and put it straight so I've been working from home.

I guess I should post a horrid pic of my leg post op tis EADD afterall

That picture reminds me of when I broke both bones in my arm when I was 12... had the thing hanging down at a 90 degree angle. :D

I ended up with 26 stiches in total & had 2 plates in my arm for 6 months. I've now got a rather nice surgical scar conveniently 'down the tracks' on my wrist:

Yup I remember the itching... plenty of that what with the 2 big scars & 2 operations! I can't really remember how long that lasted anymore... worst part was trying not to pick at the scabs. A bit more of a challenge when you are 12 probably! ;)

That sounds awful, Chatative. Does your arm ever give you jib these days or has it complete healed now? Hope so.

Other matters, did a T-Focus 25 work out today (photy up in the photy thread for my shame hahahaha...) As I've mentioned I've started reading Ronnie O'Sulliven's book and I downloaded the wrong one. I've mentioned before that I feel I'm somewhat in connection with the universe - and this is one of those times. His book is, of course, about his running, fitness and how it's helped him not only in daily life but as a snooker player. I read a few pages of it and it inspired me to exercise again. So I did my workout. The only other person who's inspired me lately to get back into fitness is raas when he kept putting his photos of nature while running (I hope you don't mind me saying that, raas, because you didn't like me complimenting you the other day - if you do, PM me and I'll delete it).

But as I've said I think I'm connected so may get all my crystals out later (not that I really know that much about them, to be honest) other than I like rose quartz because they're pink! and black tourmaline because apparently it repels negative energy (had a little piece of black tourmaline in my picket for years, but lost it n got bored lol)

Right I'm waffling on here LOL, apologies for that. I best get ready to go town and my recovery group.

Oh it's all healed... doesn't ache in cold or wet weather or anything like that. I think breaking bones when young is an advantage because the healing process is quicker/better. (I think)

I think it's mostly joint fractures, repeated fractures or the likes of fractures in hands/feet that play up... not had any of those!

Beautiful day today, loooovely

Hidden some stuff and forgotten where... bollocks

Oh - that's ace news, really it is! Some people have issues with broken bones, say they give them pain / hassle when the weather's cold and things. You're probably right. Things heal quicker when you're a child. Even the brain is more "elastic" for children, making it repairs itself.

Same. Got one etiz, anyway. It's here somewhere. We all good today anyway? Cold as fuck here for some reason, killing time til England match tonight and admiring the new melting clock we just bought for the mantelpiece. It's pretty cliche but it looks cool.

Sounds ace. Hope you enjoy the England match.

I'm pleased as I've paid £100 off my credit card. Feels good to pay some money off.
Things are looking up.
