@ Dan - I've been playing for about 15 years, been in bands for ~11ish years.
I play all sorts of stuff - usually what I would refer to as "weird rock'n'roll" - i have a really eclectic taste, and my playing sort of reflects that. Am in a sort of punk rock band at the moment, but with piano and really diverse sorts of songs.
I play a lot with feedback, resonance and discord, but shape it into some kind of pop sensibility at times.
Love Hendrix and lots of 60s music (from Motown to the kinks, velvet underground, stooges - that kind of thing - as well as certain kinds of folk, proto-punk...experimental stuff, all kinds of things really).
In recent times I've been playing with analogue synths and drum machines. I play lots of instruments and am working on ways to be "self-accompanied" and play "solo" without just being a voice and a guitar.
Lots of fun

Music keeps me sane, happy and focused. It's such a wonderful way of communicating, expressing abstract thoughts/feelings and bringing people together (in any form). It's my life, I love it.
