Flowers are outrageously expensive. 8o £100s of pounds for nice displays, i had no idea they cost that much until recently. No offence intended to people who earn their living in the trade, Im sure there must be a lot of artistry and skill that goes into it, and the raw materials are probably well expensive too.
 
Not been keeping up with this thread lately.. but congrats on the job MDB! Really pleased for you. :)

Having a very windy and sunny time in Cornwall still.. sadly a bit too windy for actually going anywhere, but nice to relax today as I'm absolutely knackered from surfing yesterday. I rather like it down here.

One of my mates is a florist, she does large inatallations for parties etc and a lot for silly rich people. One guy apparently was spending 15k a month on flowers for his house, obscene money 8o

You mean that the Beach Boys were lying to us when they tried to make out that surfing was easy? 8o
 
Nah, won't complain too much.. tis still nicely sunny! And I'm not sat in an office feeling disillusioned.

Well it might be easy once you can do it well.. But yes, maybe they lied about other things too? :(
