LONG time lurker, first time poster

Hey! I'm new too but I'm still contemplating on making myself known lol

Im also 22 & although I've tried about every drug my "favorite" is heroin. Been addicted since I was 19. My love for that sticky sometimes powdery shit is surreal! So it's so cool you have a good chunk of clean time!

Ive always lurked here too. it's now time to join the family that I've come to through many of my struggles with addiction.
anyway you seem pretty chill! the new kids should stick together ;)
Side note- I'm soo adamant on trying kratom, I just haven't hit up a smoke shop yet. I want to like not say replace but sub for h until I get some more sobriety under my belt (Today is fifteen days). So if you could, please share with me your knowledge about Kratom!

So firstly, congrats on 15 days. Seriously, those first two weeks or so are the realest, hardest part of the whole thing. Everybody's experience is different but for me, since those first two weeks or so that I had clean everything has gotten better and better at a rather astonishing rate :) believe it or not, there is a life post-opiates and its worth living, and even glorious at times. And I appreciate your kind words, although the folks at NA certainly would not call me "clean" - I still take benzos, drink alcohol, smoke marijuana, and use psychedelics. Still, I consider kicking opiates one hell of a feat...congrats on the clean time and keep at it!

With regards to the kratom - definitely do NOT buy kratom at a headshop, you will most likely be sold overpriced, very low potency stuff. The kratom available online gives you much, much more bang for your buck. Unfortunately sourcing is not allowed here, but it's really easy to find just by googling a few key words and once I'm no longer a greenlighter I can send you a PM with more information. I'm afraid I don't know much behind the pharmacology of kratom, only that it is a plant containing a u-opiod agonist that gives a very nice euphoric nod, comparable to that of oxycodone. It's nowhere near as dangerous as heroin, but like all opiates can be addictive and can cause the same type of withdrawals if heavy use is abruptly stopped. They are nowhere NEAR as bad as heroin withdrawals, however. I really enjoy the high of kratom, and if mixed with a small amount of benzos and gabapentin and weed...ah, now that's heaven :) (of course, mixing downers is extremely dangerous if you don't have a tolerance because of respitory depression, etc.)

Feel free to ask me more questions if you have any but I am by no means an expert. There's a dude on here named CaptainKratom who definitely has far more knowledge on the subject than me. Anyway, good to meet you, and wishing you the best. %)

I remember watching Floyd live in Pompeii while waiting for 3 blotters of L to kick in. The room turned into a spaceship right around the time they played "set the controls for the heart of the sun" :D

Amazing band, wish I'd gotten to see them live. Last summer at a festival I got to see Pigs on the Wing, a Floyd tribute band started by one of the members of STS9 (Dave Murphy I think? Maybe some other heads could correct me) but the show itself was AMAZING, not just the lights but how they played really captured the Floyd feel. Probably the closest thing you can get to seeing pink Floyd live these days. Plus I did a fat line of ketamine beforehand, that's always nice %)

I like how 99% of drug users have come to the conclusion that pink Floyd + drugs = heaven on earth. Not that you need drugs to enjoy em. Those guys really knew what they were doing.
