EDIT Ugh I was in my recovery group today ya know the one I've wanted to be "apart of" for months, well today there was LOTS of them there PLUS people I knew. All I kept thinking was CODEINE, need it now n I need out of here. They were going ON about sober (whatever the word) n how they HAD to accept things, it was like watching a load of old age pensioners. I needed out! Felt claustrophobic. All those people - and one who knew me n my family. I needed out as all that recovery stuff was getting on my *****. Was it so much to want a bit of codeine n to be deprived of it is mean.

Dunno what it would be called. It's the second one I've seen in the house but the first one was in the bath tub and it couldn't do anything, if it tried running up the sides it slid back down. I almost mocked the thing. Now I'm here lying in bed wondering if it will kill me in my sleep or wake me up to kill me.

Trust me when you try to get a box of 32 nurofin plus for a little codeine n the pharmacist tell you, go into the consultation room because he's served you you're suboxone n you don't notice him because you've a sight problem, you end up sobbing n running out of the pharmacy in sheer humiliation, life sucks trust me... I was about to say something but I won't as I really don't want to break the rules n get infracted lol... I've had a drink but I'm not "that drunk" yet!!!!!!!!!!!

Without wishing to belabour the point too much, that's more classic addictspeak right there. As I said in t'other thread, nobody is preventing you from taking codeine. That is your addiction talking. It's telling you "somebody" is stopping you from just having harmless fun. What it fails to mention is that that person is you. You and only you are the only person stopping you from taking codeine. You could acquire codeine in many ways if you really wanted to. You are not acquiring codeine despite this which is making your addiction come out from the shadows and start whispering sweet lies to you.

And they are lies and you know this or you would have been taking codeine all along. You chose to stop. You chose to face up to your addiction. You may or may not be having a minor wobble at the moment and be wondering if you did the right thing which gives your addiction a chink in the armour to worm its way back in. You know this to be true too. If not you would have ordered codeine from several places already tonight and be planning a town centre blitz in the morning. I know you're not doing that. Instead you're having a drink and a bit of a laugh and a chat with BLers. This is the way to go. Those addiction whispers will fade and you will see them for what they were and are. Stay strong - you know you are strong enough to beat it this time around cos you beat it before when it was far stronger. Now you are the strong one - don't ever forget it

It's a bit hard to be sure given you didn't post to an actual pic of her but a description of the series she was in. I've heard of nor seen sight of either instance so couldn't rightly comment. I know for a fact she's a beast though cos she's in a US Baywatch knock-off (or similar) which means horridhorridhorrid. Those kinda women are beyond repair for me. I'm sure many are nice people, but they're ugly on the outside

ok I have a question for everyone that I'd like a little help with, please.

If you knew that someone was hurting n had had, some pain in their past. They had spent time trying to hurt YOU but deep down you thought there was more to it and wanted to help the person, would you? I was about to E-mail this person. I've tried a few times but just receive vile responses back about how I am a drunk n so forth. But I think there's more to it. I think that, deep down, this person is hurting and won't admit it. I can't explain it. They've done a lot to hurt me. In fact the person apologise to me for their behaviour but reverted back to type when I started drinking again - I think there's more to it and want to try and help this person because deep down, I think that it is a good, kind, person, who has been dealt some bad blows during childhood by their "mother."

Do I help them or pass them off as a nasty troll? The second sounds better, as deep down no one is truly bad. So, should I continue to try to help this person, though they keep trying to hurt me????

Yeah I was pretty shocked when I saw the photo. As far as surgery'd up/made-up/photo-shopped up celebrities go, she must be my bottom 15% with that humungous mouth.
