using the torch or not? (smoking methamphetamine)

what do you guys think as i have heard both sides to this question. should you use the torch with smoking meth or is the standard lighter the way to go? ive only used the lighter so i cant say yes or a no. i was talking to my buddy today and he said that he uses the bong with a torch and that it hits you way harder. i was curious what others thought cause considering my tolerance now, that sounds pretty appealing. 8o

i guess im just curious what people think because he said that it hits you way harder. another sub question to that would be does the bong hit you harder instead of pipe, if were saying its both vaporising.
 
I thought. Meant smoking or not to smoke...snort it, high is enjoyable and euphoric and lasts hours. Ur bag will last longer. Smoking u want hit after hot and feel chasing it and never content and blow thru it all too fast
 
^ Seems to be pretty true, just not the greatest idea to snort all the time or with any consistency as you can do some real damage to your nose.
 
sorry i should have be more detailed but you guys are very right about snorting it compared to smoking. that is lasts longer.

my question pertains to smoking only. do you think there is a difference or do you get higher from using a torch and bong than just the regular lighter and standard pipe. my buddy said it hits him harder. ive only used the regular lighter and pipe so i wouldnt know and i was wondering if there is anyone out there with an opinion on that.
 
Can heat destroy the meth? If not than a torch would get it in you faster. A bong seems pointless since some meth will dissolve in the water but the smoke is likely hotter with a torch so I guess it would cool it.
 
YES HEAT DESTROYS METH. look thru the forums, there are great tutorials. Personally, i HATE smoking meth, and i am horrible at it. the best advice i can give you in information: you do not "smoke" meth, you do not burn it. as Bob said, you are Vaporising it....heating it up until it to gas. if it is boiling, you are destroying your goodies.
 
It frustrates me teaching someone how to smoke, and they keep putting the lighter to the class and inhaling as the lighter is on to I keep telling them lighter goes inches away from pipe turn slowly to get melted meth spread out , when the ball fills up with smoke inhale apply heat and turn and let ball fill with smoke, gosh it's not that hard..I just learned 1wk ago
 
The worst is when people try to explain their rationale behind not holding in the smoke. The literally will not listen to you when you describe precisely how it is a waste.
 
They also complain when they don't feel it go down they're throat lol, and claim since they have to be very soft puffing in the smoke and waiting for the smoke to fill the glass again they are not getting much
 
I was always fine using an average BIC but I have used torches in the past.

I definitely feel they burn tweak a lot faster, in a way wasteful to.

I always said it sped up the process & when your up a couple days just getting straight LIFTED you don't care and just wanna smoke smoke and smoke more lol.

Never was into.it and preferred method but it was cool like I said when I just didn't give a fuck I guess you could say.

Burns your.dope a lot faster without a doubt I think wastes dope to some degree but whatever I'd it was around but never really saw the big hype around.it.
 
I agree^ never used to trip on my heart palpitations & heart rate overall until I started snorting I really don't know why

but smoking was always so peaceful to me. Real calm and felt amazing. Snorting is cool, its what I do now but recently my doses of a half gram or more been sending me to the ER with anxiety issues and heart problems. Never used to freak when id smoke though.

Love the ritual of smoking as well, just exhaling that thick white cloud is so satisfying. Snorting is less harsh when you come down though which is why I snort nowadays. Smoke comedowns are terrible to me. Hitting all at once n what not.
 
You will find using a torch will burn through your product a lot faster as it is alot hotter. That being said, with practice and careful use you will be able to take huge hits whilst using a torch but you've gotta be paying attention as it's not hard to over heat and burn your product.



A Bic will let your stuff last longer and because it does not burn as hot you have much less chances of burning your stuff.

I just cannot get the hang of using a torch, I always seem to waste some gear from the excess of heat.

I am, however, a good smoker with an ordinary bic, I get many many tokes out of a small amount of gear....and as primarily an IV user, I feel I can gauge how much I am getting/wasting via smoking....i.e., IV has 100% bioavailability and smoking has 90-ish% bioavailability (I think), so if the high from a certain amount of gear smoked is similar to that same amount of gear IV'd, then I have a reasonable idea that I haven't wasted much.

I still remember a horrible incident where I had a pipe, my last point of gear and only a torch lighter....and most of the gear went up in smoke (not in a good way).....sigh.

If anyone has any tips for using torch lighters with a glass pipe I'd love to hear them.
 
I smoked some kind bud with a torch once and it was basically a waste. Torching meth might hit you faster but you can't beat a good bic lighter so why try? Orally is also a good route--it just takes a little more patience.
