Mogwai - EP + 6

Ep%2B6.jpg

Only just found out that it was only released in Japan and it's one of the most beautiful albums I own and the same goes for my feeling of how it stands in the whole world of music.

Also - a grim thought but true - I may request to use one of the songs to be plaued at my funeral

MDG are you my ex-husband?

I doubt it, but i probably wish i was.

number 6 has been done and it was an Arab Strap collection. So next in line at number 7 is another Arab Strap album, Elephant Shoe from 1999. I've not listened to that either yet.

I think this is the first track of theirs that i heard, pretty awesome. What part of Scotland are they from judging by their accents CH ? (its spoken vocals over the music)

Arab Strap The First Big Weekend

I dont know where they're originally from. They live in Glasgow (he mentions The Arches in that tune). My mate took some pictures of Aidan Moffat recently. If you google 'Aidan Moffat Tom Weir' they should come up. Can't easily post links from this tablet thing.

66 is Nirvana - Bleach. Got into them a couple years after Cobain took his dome off. Still love them. Great band.

Is it just me who found Amy Winehouse attractive even with the smack? Certainly the most attractive baghead I've ever known of!

my 101 is...

s.u.n. project - guitar trax (disc 1)

ishkur would describe this as "buttrock goa". i'm not sure i agree 100% but they go on to say "heavy metal and psytrance go so well together" with which i wholeheartedly agree.

i've been lucky enough to to see these guys live 3 or 4 times and they just kick ass. "sexdrugs & acidtrance" is great but i prefer the version "sexdrugs & acidtrance ii" which is not on this disk. also awesome is "dance of the witches", the gms remix of which is is four to the floor, pounding trance silliness.

next up: number 17
