These Fields Are Dead

So, so happy with this track. Made it from a few old samples I found of me pissing around with my friend's guitar while he was out. Believe me, the original guitar playing was BAD :D But I managed to get a sort of faux easy-listening Four Tet vibe out of it in the end :)

nah, same Chelsea Automatic band, I just don't have the blessings of my bandmates to post that song up, and I created it cuz I wanted to learn how to create youtube vids with Windows Movie Maker... Snakes N Flames was sort of a band name joke that my brother and I came up with, I'm glad you like that band name as I think it's satirically awesome LOL

and wow! Native Suns sounds great! the guitar work is phenomenal. I hear a lot of math rock influence and dare I say some Yellow Card influence? really kewl man, I'm digging the overall musicianship. my band is just so steeped in straight-forward rock n roll that we just can't venture outside the lines as much as you do for that first song... I'm very interested

I agree, the name is absolutely satirically awesome! Haha.

Well shit, thank you, brother. We signed to a somewhat respectable metal-core/trash-core label, which has been the most frustrating experience. But yeah, it's very post-rock driven, math-rock certainly fits in it's core creation. Not so much Yellowcard, never really been a fan of them, myself. I would say more along the lines of Circa Survive or something, vocally. The song in the link barely fits in with what we've been doing for the past year. I have some more songs if you're interested in giving it a listen. I can email you some. We're not able to release anything yet, so I'm definitely eager to share.

^Hey Brat,,, that has to be the single most tripped out vid I have ever seen, love the mix of old and new styles, the tune was pretty cool too, kinda 80s vibe on it.

^brat u must be a kraftwerk fan or something u are so close to nailin that old school sound.... the vid is amazing tho if the melodies and strings were more simple u'd have it down

tons of new sounds from opium and i at my reverbnation page its kind of just a dumping ground for all my stuff but there's some MXE/MXP influenced stuff there that's weird www.reverbnation.com/phorzeine opium raps over some of them; and yeah if anyone is into our stuff hit us up and join in

wow that first link is amazing... not a huge fan of the playin on the second one but youre crazy talented lol no offense just not my thing

Posted my bands stuff here a long time ago, but here's something recent. Feedback is awesome, good or bad :)

I like it, what do you play mate? It's a little over produced for my personal taste but there's some real interesting stuff going on with the rhythms. Love the drums on the chorus.
