The Benzodiazepine Thread Version 5

In my possession I have liquid diazepam 10mg in 2ml vials ready for I.V or I.M injection...

I have experience with benzodiazepines and I.V use of amphetamines..

But I have never shot a downer :| dose anyone have experience with injectable diazepam that can provide me with a good starting recreational dose?? And what to expect in terms dangers, is there a rush, half life, etc thanks y'all :)
 
A good view is that oral dosage is as good as iv or im.

apart from a quicker on-set(subjective), it is really nothing else. why not just eat them?

oral is actually the best roa with nearly all benzos

Yea I guess good view but 10mg orally of diazepam is pretty weak in my experience and these ampoules are also pretty rare for me not interested in I.M injection because it's probably the slowest way to absorb it so I.V seems to be the way to go
 
Benzo tolerance is fucking strange. If im happy/anxiety free I dont feel anything. But when anxious or in opiate WD its a lifesaver.

Ive just had about 4mg Alpraz and 50mg of Diaz and its helping with the feelings caused by all the shit in my life atm, but I should be drooling on the floor! Different doses affect me so differently. Etizolam and Clonazepam are my favourites. Rivotril is fucking awesome!

Maybe after my methadone ill feel it more, but since the crackdown on xanax its made it harder to aquire for sure.

I've always considered that to be one of the most perilous things about benzos - they can indirectly facilitate other drug use. It's a bit of a catch 22. You have less qualms about binging on drugs (especially stims) because you can load up on benzos at the end, and in turn your benzo use increases because you are using more stims.

I hope that made sense - my ADD meds are wearing off so I'm a little bit scattery. I started back on the meds today after a fair while off but have made a conscious decision not to take anything to relax at the end of the day. That way I'll be forced not to go overboard with my meds.

They are made by Ascent Phramacy and called Ralozam. Do you think these could be left over Pfizer stock, they look identical?

Ralozam is Xanax - I compared them in size, markings and taste. The bottle is the same colours also. I think Pfizer flogged off leftover stock to Ascent
 
on the scheduling, i think its made it easier for central sydney. maybe its brought in an influx from sources other than doctors.

Q: how do daily users go about with dosing xanax? do you eat it or put it under the tongue? do you spread the doses through the day or save it for night/sleep?

im usually eating it if ive got a fairly empty stomach, otherwise i put it under the tongue. i feel like eating it is the best way but if ive eaten some food ill be worried the xans wont hit as hard.
 
Scheduling making it easier? Unless they're fakes, how would that happen?

I always eat them when I have them, I've never tried under the tongue administration because they work so quickly anyway.
 
If ya put it under the tongue, try not move your tongue around so the chemicals don't get all over your mouth. Just try keep your tongue flat and still for a minute or two, you won't taste a thing
 
Well, after being ridiculed by my doctor even though I wasn't asking for a script and just wanted a genuine taper plan, I've started on my own. Switched from oxazepam and alprazolam (which wasn't any every day thing but was atleast 2mg a weekend) to diazepam completely. I figured out after racking my brain for hours (short term memory loss on benzos is ten times worse than when I used to smoke buds everyday) I figured out I was eating up to 4x30mg oxazepam a day. One as soon as I'd wake up before work, then one at around 12pm, then one when I got home at 5pm then one before bed at around 11pm. I never once got high from oxazepam although it really helped with anxiety. I was taking small amounts of diazepam throughout the just over 3 month period but never more than 10mg at a time and that was only when I had run out of oxaz.

All I can say is fuck its hard making the switch. I thought that diazepam were stronger and would make the switch from oxaz easy. Not at all, i'm currently down to 20mg of diaz a day and will be dropping down to 15 on monday but i cannot stop sweating profusely and I feel almost psychotic a lot of the time. It is definitely bearable because i've been able to work/socialise etc but dear god I wish someone would have told me that oxazepam is basically a weaker version of alprazolam. Its just as short lasting as alprazolam so I think the regular re-dosing has made it hard to switch to the general 10mg of diaz in the morning, 10mg at around 5pm after finishing work. Only side-effect I haven't noticed is finding it hard to sleep. I missed a full day of diaz dosing due to forgetting to take them with me on a 1 day trip and felt no side effects apart from slight panic that the fact that I'd missed my dose could mean severe withdrawals, but I slept fine, did sweat a fair bit more than I'm used to but that was about it.

I've only been a daily user since 3/12/13 and I have been addicted to nearly everything under the sun (bar opiates) and I think I finally realise that i've only ever been mentally addicted. Physical addiction is a whole different thing and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemies. Fuck benzos

I had a random thought last night while I was enduring the unpleasantness of a dexamphetamine crash/insomnia:

Have any of you guys with a serious and long term benzodiazepine dependence ever been in the situation where a doctor (be it your regular doc or a new one) has flat out refused to prescribed you any meds? I know a lot of doctors are naturally opposed to prescribing benzos, but surely they have a duty of care to do something. I mean by sending a patient away empty handed, they could potentially be rolling the dice with their lives, right?
 
Yes, I had that exact situation which has thankfully been resolved now.

Last year I saw a dud psychiatrist (and bitched on about it quite a bit here on the forum:sus:) who wrote a damning letter to my regular GP claiming I was abusing benzos. Result: I went back to my regular GP (who is a good doctor and a reasonable man) and he was reading this letter on the screen, because it was and still is permanently stuck to my file, and he refused to give me any more diazepam. He dropped me right in the shit and I was rather... irritated.

Each time I seea a GP now, they see that letter and I have to either A)defend myself, or B) give up and take their shitty attitudes. One of them flat out said to me: "Have you seen any other doctors today? Do you collect scripts?". All I could muster in response was "no". What I wanted to do was drop her computer on her head.

In case you're wondering how I got back in the good books with my regular GP.... well in the letter he wrote he says that I'm an addict of multiple drugs and have been abusing my benzo scripts. He states that he believed it unwise to script me benzos, and therefore did not script me anything. But the fact is that the idiot DID script me valium. Not only that, but TWICE the usual amount that my regular doc gave me. I didn't question it. I was happy.

So I kept the bottle when I had the script filled which clearly shows the psych's name, my name, the place and date it was filled, etc. I showed the bottle to my regular GP and asked him to re-read the letter. Oops. I could see the look of conflict on my doc's face and he saw too different stories, but the script bottle doesn't lie so we both agreed that the pysch was an idiot and since then my regular guy has been a lot more sympathetic and takes my word for things.

Happy ending but fucking awful experience. And the letter remains on the system so I've got a bad name for any new GP I see.
 
Lol I got stilnox prescribed to me over diazepam. Was prescribed 50 x 5 mg's diaz at a time but they'd last me a good while. Then stilnox... Tripples your on the money. 30 mg of oxaz is pretty similar to 1 mg xanax IMO. Fuck I'd love some etizolam though... dramatic sigh. But yeah diaz will help keep at it mate but be careful to much of an abrupt withdrawl can cause delirium tremens like side effects. Sometimes weeks after ceasing the drugs. Don't reduce the diaz to quickly.

well Diaz supply ran out which I thought was unlimited so had to switch back to xanax as no oxaz available either. It fucking sucks. 20mg of Diaz is supposedly equal to 1mg of alprazolam but I'm taking up to 4mg a day for 3 days now just to stop the shakes. my memory short term memory is completely gone. spend 40 minutes looking for something that is in my back pocket etc. happens multiple times a day. Still no problem with sleep though can take my last 1mg dose of xanax at 5pm and fall asleep easy at 12am. I've got an appointment with a doctor in 2 weeks who was recommended to me I d I nt even want a script just want a taper plan that will affect me the least. Also even though I wouldn't say I have a huge tolerance to benzos I took my whole 4mg at once on my day off and didn't feel any different than if I'd hVe taken the 1mg spread out. worst addiction ever, hands down.
 
The brand name Rivotril and pot is going to be a lifesaver tonight. Meth is fucked and my habit is all over the place, often non - existent but then rears it's ugly head. I can't do it anymore.

I feel so sorry for the people that go through wd after just a few days. 2-3 days of heroin use causes bad wds but I use benzos all the time and don't become dependent(physically) psychologically I'm fucked and have such a ridiculous tolerance. 10mg of clonazepam. Is a small dose for me :/
