I bet your house is a shite state

Np, but come to think of it, I've seen a lot of green hair lately. I think it looks okay if it's done well, it's just that green fades very quickly and then looks a bit manky and crap.

Aha! That could well be the problem then. Although people who go green really should dye it more often cos it just looks horrid when it's all wishy-washy and mottled which is how I've always seen it. The gal that triggered my questioning today was a particularly bad case: she had shoulder length hair but only dyed it halfway up and was just bogstandard mousy brown from roots to the halfway mark where the mottled mankgreen kicked in. Really not a good look :|

Only Martians have green hair. I've never seen anyone with green hair. I am, however, a sucker for blue streaks/bits in jet black hair. Jet black female hair. If anyone wants to impress me. No? Right. Carry on.

Agreed. Also magenta/purple/red streaks in black hair. My ex used to dye hers purple but cos she had the same hair colour as me (dark brown/bordering on black depending on light) it just went jet black with a kinda purple sheen when the light hit it. Was really quite nice in a subtle kinda way. Always was gonna do mine the same but never got around to it. Still got the dye now. Maybe will get around to it one day cos I've never dyed my hair before and seems like something everyone should try at least once. Got no greys on my head yet (chin and nadgers being a different story altogether :|) so could still just about get away with it not being for the wrong reasons. Perhaps.

i tried various shades of black and red when i had an ian mcculloch/robert smith/jesus and mary chain hair style in my teens. Its quite ridicoulous how big suckers girls were for a hairstyle. Its possibly just something that you can successfully pull off during your youth. I'm not sure, as Im currently re-listening to The Picture Of Dorian Grey, the theme so far seems to be that life is never as good as it will be in the very fleeting prime of youth. I dont think i necessarily believe that, allthough it could turn out to be true, it would be a bit depressing to obsess too much about lost youth, which is what this book seems to be about so far. Its a fucking weird one, i know there's a few twists and turns to come in the plot, i last read it about 25 years ago, in the days where Morrisey made Oscar Wilde fashionable again.

i can't help but have a little chuckle at the timing of ops thread .

What sort of thread is this n how come I'm subscribed? Hahahaha you peeps are getting worst :) xxxx

This thread is a conversation that began in the "I'm a trifle annoyed" thread, but had nothing to do with being annoyed, so I split it off to it's own thread. You're subscribed to it because you posted in it before it was split off.

My house is always tidy and generally fairly clean, I pick up after myself and keep on top of the washing up. I try to do a hoover once a week or fortnight usually when I change bed linen. It annoys me how quickly the dust accumulates, especially now I live in London, this city is so dirty.

Stims were never the drug of choice for me when it comes to cleaning, I'm too skittish and can't focus. I usually get motivated to clean best when I'm stoned. Had a nice little wake and bake and got on with the cleaning this morning, I'll be so much more chilled out to come home to a clean house in the week after work now :)

My house is tidy until my mother comes round and then it is untidy by law of mother.

My mother's house is tidy until her mother in law comes round and then it is untidy by law of mother in law.

From what I recall of my mother's mother in law's mother in law everything was covered in plastic and she had a 'confirmed bachelor' who would keep everything pristine. I think he was called Jeffrey.

This has been a very strange weekend for me.

I used to go on tidying and cleaning sprees on opis. I found the stimulating strain of kratom red vein thai to be superb for such things, i suddenly had energy and motivation to do things that were too fucking tedious otherwise. Gradually adjusting though, now ive given up smoking i am taking far more care about what i eat, and have done a couple of loads of clothes washing.

Its a bastard trying to dry clothes indoors during the winter though, piling clothes on top of radiators or just hoping they will dry hung on hangers off bookshelves and doorframes, and then there's condensation everywhere, they are just never going to dry outdoors until it warms up a bit more. If things dont get dried properly or quickly enough they develop that terrible cats piss smell. Ive had to chuck out a couple of shirts because of that, once its started on an item of clothing you can never get rid of it. :o
