I am just trying to get my head wrapped around this. In 2001 the average time saved by each individual going through drug court was 27 years; with a retention rate of 67%.^^
No, she said he's had felony convictions, but only a few. I didn't ask her specifically how many out of the 29 he was convicted on, but if had been a significant amount, they would have said that instead of only saying how many he had been charged with. I'm sure I could ask my lawyer to find out more but I wasn't trying to drill this women for all the specifics on her son, just trying to offer her a little help.
Look, it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Yes the kid was in trouble a lot over the years, and yes he fucked up while he was on drug court. But 40 years? On no planet does that make sense.
What should be the result?
