Exercise 4 Health, Mental Health, and Addiction vs. I worked all that out

I did chest and triceps tonight. I forgot my gym clothes, so I was working out in a cutoff I had under my clothes, and then dress slacks and dress shoes. It was part pathetic, part amazing. But if it had to happen on a day, chest day was the one. Anyway, I did make some incremental strength gains, but it didn't feel like the best workout for my muscles, as my form was a bit weird and my nervous system took a pounding. And some idiot violated my personal space and messed me up psychologically on the incline bench. Don't care if he thought I had another two in me, I am done after 4 reps because that is my pre-planned workout, and I don't need you walking up onto the bench as I am lifting and being my (uninvited) spotter. I have another WORKOUT in me, during which I may get those two more reps ON MY OWN. So yes, I went to the gym to blow off steam and in turn got annoyed at the gym. But it is what it is.

Tomorrow morning shortly after sunrise I am BACK at it for BACK and biceps.

yeah I forgot that I lifted triceps as well always tris with chest.. I have a funny picture of the dress shoes.. but it isn't it nice when we get to a place where what strangers think is valued about as much as dog deposits... it is for me at least.

It's still raining, but I went jogging in the rain anyway. Was actually kind of nice.

I love jogging outside! I can't wait for this snow to melt and the temperatures to get above freezing so I can start running outside again. I always go to this little park right by the ocean. It's never too crowded.

There's something about jogging outside near the ocean with my music playing that makes me feel so good.

I haven't jogged outside for a while errr I think i just wait til the weather is better. Off to the gym later though quite excited to be back

Just did back and biceps. My max deadlift is at the highest it has been in several years. So ya, good workout and hopefully I'm going to be sore from this tomorrow. And it's the beginning of my eating window, so it's time to chow down. But I just don't feel very happy today. Nervous about stuff at work, cannot seem to keep my mind away from that.

^ nervous about work every single day since this is the last month my supervisor is here at work (mat leave) but whatever man we do what we can right?

Gonna workout full body and no excuses!

ran, lifted chest and legs.. my tries were pretty tired yet from the last time I lifted them as I lifted them hard so they kinda hampered my workout. So I didn't do anything specific for them today. Also I skipped squatting for time reasons. I will slip it in tomorrow. Ti chicken curry for dinner tonight. I feal great.

I went for a long bush trek yesterday for a couple hours. Climbing up and down rocks and slipping and falling a few times, it was pretty dangerous. Took it out of me but felt good!

Maya, you've got me hooked on the 1000 crunches regimen. I've seen results after just a week. Imagine a month of this! Thanks for the inspiration. :)

I do intermittent fasting, so 18h fast followed by 6h eating every 24h. The purpose of it is to get/stay extremely lean on a (relatively) higher calorie count. It also lets you get thin without doing cardio (I hate cardio, would rather have a tighter diet). In my opinion, this is easier than the "small, frequent meals" approach toward getting lean. That leaves me always hungry and feeling depleted, and having a six hour window each day to pig out satisfies my gluttony on a regular pattern. It works for some of my friends, others hate it. But ya, this wouldn't work for a diabetic.

And I'll send the PM.

Fantastic! Glad I inspired ya! If u ever get bored with crunches you can do russian twists.

I eat banana before my workouts nsa.

^^ What's the 1000 crunches regime - is it like 1000 crunches a day for a month, or is it a goal to be able to do 1000 crunches by the end of the month?
