yeah something like mirtazapine might help, thats meant to be good for drug withdrawals as well as anxiety. If you do end up getting prescribed that (i think its quite likely) be prepared to feel very drowsy the day after the first night you take it. It really caught me out badly that way. But the drowsiness will pass after one day IME, you will also have monster munchy attacks for the first few weeks.

Drinking plenty of water can help with forced nicotine stops. Also avoid coffee as that will make everything much worse.

i cant take that stuff had it all ready no legally it makes me suicidal the next morning .

going to ring up now

great just rung up to find out my doctor has left the practice with no warning

So I just found out that the German girl I've had my heart set on for the last few months already has a boyfriend. Not nice. Also I threw up all over my bed about 10 minutes ago. I'm not having a good day.

As for what particularly irked me - your reasoning, supposedly based on a rejection of ideology but which, in fact, is mere parroting of right-wing ideology, that it all boils down to getting out the best china in order for the world to perceive Britain in a better light. That's just crass. Sorry, fucking rubbish.

If you want to be seen as rejecting tired ideologies then its better not to reprint arguments from the Daily Mail.
It saddens me that you think I'm regurgitating right-wing ideology. I don't read the Mail, and I was a republican almost all of my life. I think my view is quite considered and nuanced. In principle, I am opposed to the idea of a monarchy. It is totally against my ideas about egalitarianism and feminism and class. In fact, I've been called a classist in the past, because of my tendency to view many issues through a prism of the privileged exploiting and excluding the less fortunate. As I say, though, I think of myself as a realist- I think that, generally, it is best to eschew ideological purity if it is actually detrimental. In terms of international relations, I think that, though they are in some sense an ugly and regressive relic of a less enlightened age, our royal family actually does confer tremendous benefits on us, indirect though those benefits might be, in terms of diplomacy and trade, and in every situation in which the unconscious, latent assumptions and perception of our country makes a difference. Is that really what the Daily Mail says?

PS. I wasn't dismissing republicanism as "fucking rubbish", just the name "the British Republic", which is the best I can come up with. I'm sorry you took offense to the phrase; you once said I always swore in the right places, but it appears that judgment failed me here. It is related to a serious point, though; there are all kinds of practical and political concerns. Republicanism is subtractive, right? I mean, republicanism is the idea that we get rid of the monarchy. What do we have in its place? I mean, it could seem that what we call our country and what is depicted on our banknotes are trivial concerns, but I think that they reflect a real and deep issue; what would abolishing the monarchy mean for our sense of ourselves as a country and as a culture? What would be our icons, our emblems?

All that aside, hope your cold clears up.

Hi FG mate, did you ever look at those links I posted about claiming for Short Term Advances etc as crisis loans are no longer available?

Sorry, my cold wins. Maybe I'll come back later or tomorrow and give you a full answer. But don't go away thinking I think you're a Mail reading fascist. Or that I think anything other than positively of your usage of the word 'fuck'.

But yeah, as for the diplomacy and trade arguments (which is what your first paragraph boils down to) and the sense of nation and culture with the removal of the monarchy (I'm saddened ;) that you think our culture is only defined by monarchistic concerns) I have plenty to say. Later.

Thanks for the good wishes. I really feel shit. If it's any indication, this post took about 20 fucking minutes to write so, yeah, later.

Get better soon SHM.
As for your post taking 20mins to complete, that's down to your age mate not the cold. ;-)

Police officer wins £429,434 payout after he became laughing stock of his policeforce over video of him attempting to smash a 74 year old pensioners window and failing with 15 blows.

After leaving the force, Mr Baillon set up a company called Celtic Woodcraft making decorative wooden reindeers.

He wasnt happy about how many people had seen him on youtube.
