The infraction only counts as a point towards a tempban for 1 year, but the stain stays on your profile forever, a little scarlet letter broadcasting the fact that you once drunkenly flamed someone to every staff member for all eternity. Or just start a new acct. That's a loophole. Binge Artist became Binge_Artist, and had a tabula rasa, so to speak.

Infractions and warnings are visible to staff, and to yourself, but not to other accounts with BLer or GLer status.

I've only ever had the one infraction. Not guilty. Genuinely. Somebody who shall remain nameless let somebody else who shall also remain nameless use their mod account and it got used to give me a comedy infraction. Senior staff didn't find it quite as comedic apparently so (as far as I recall) I don't have it on my record at all but at least one of those who shall remain nameless got a bit of a spanked botty. Which they probably enjoyed :D

Moral of the tale being: be careful who you allow to use your account and/or don't stay logged in if you're with others and drugs are involved

Where is the ginger cunt these days? Aside from Bangkok. He seemed to be making a comeback not so long ago but disappeared again. Hate to admit it, but he does brighten the place up sometimes. Admittedly in a kinda day-glo, coppery ginger hue. EADD does its characters though and he certainly was that when on form. The concept of a successful Spade doing exciting things out there in the world fascinates me. Come back to us, Spadey Baby

But the occasional visit from Spade's Mum will do in the meantime

i find it annoying in some of the others forums on here someone will make a thread asking a question and once its answered a mod will say something like 'right you have got your answer i'm now going to close this thread' like nobody elses input matters. some people get on a bit of a power trip

The focus forums are meant to be... well, focused. EADD is its whole own thing, off-topic threads that go on forever are the norm. Some of the other forums are stricter because they want a page that best makes HR information easily accessible to people who aren't necessarily regular posters. Those forums have social threads, in other threads, you want the discussion to be tight, concise and to the point. Some people do get on a power trip, yes, but in, say, BDD, it's entirely appropriate to close a thread about a simple topic once the OP's question has been answered.
