EADD seeks hot new mod action [THREAD SHOT ITS LOAD]

As a mod you can issue infractions and warnings against specific posts and PMs. You can only issue anything against PMs which are reported, you can't see PMs otherwise.

A warning carries no points.

An infraction carries a point.

Multiple infractions lead to bans of increasing duration. They start at one day and go on to a year, then permanent.

In addition there are forums exclusive to staff. Members who might be perceived as being "problematic" can have threads dedicated to them. It's really very few members who have such threads, like a couple a year.

Members can raise complaints with senior staff about warnings and infractions. So even if you have infraction points, it's not in the hands of one member of staff.

Nah, mods have a modstick. Only smods get banhammers. There's check's and balances, don't worry, you'd be surprised at how much does get talked about behind the scenes. Decisions are reviewed and agonised over, and there's not much room for rogue mavericks.

MuckyD's apple pies. Just the one. Once. Never again. Lawdy are they HOT!!! 8(

Cheese and baked bean toasties were what I was remembering specifically when thinking of burny toasties. Were a particular fave of mine and have the painful memories to prove it. Soooooooooo tasty. Sooooooo HOT!!! 8(

Aye cheese and baked bean toasties are what come to mind when I think of burny toasties too. Pop Tarts can be a fucker though, also they burn really easily especially if some cunt has turned the toaster up.

The first task I set ye newly elected mod, is to change this thread title to "EADD seeks hot new mod action and cheesey toastie discussion"

Greggs steak bake? Eagerly bite into one of them and thats your day ruined.

Only come across a Gregg's steak bake the once. When I was visiting EADD chums in Glasgow oddly enough. They don't have Gregg's anywhere near where I live - nearest one is an hour on the train away. Much as I do <3 to eat all the pies, even I'm not quite dedicated enough to commute to get 'em :D

I didn't get the full-on burny mouth experience as it was bought for me (in a kinda "Wut? You've never been to a Gregg's before?!? Then you must try..." situation) and was at sensible temperature by the time they got back from town. Was also pleased to see that Glasgae folk lived up to at least one of their stereotypes in that the queue outside every Gregg's I saw (especially at lunch time but frankly seemed to be a 9-5 thing at the busier ones) was just enormous. I've occasionally seen a queue outside a chippy before - even the one here in town - but had no idea Gregg's was that popular. Steak bake was fine, as I recall. It's a meaty, puff-pastry slice so almost gonna be fine by definition. Wouldn't queue for one myself but have no doubt I would for some of their gluttonous bounty. Will make sure to allow any such gluttonous bounty to cool a bit before nomming now I've been forewarned of their fiery ferocity though =D

Also, I've never eaten a Pop Tart. True story. Vaguely recall them being introduced when I was at school but I never had one that I recall. Didn't have a toaster either, mind, and from what I remember the ads made the toastering aspect seem fairly crucial to the overall Tarty experience. Especially the Pop aspect.

I always hear about Nandos but never seen one in my life.
But I guess one tends not to see much of the world when the majority of my time is spent hidden away in this flat.

^ The fact you are confused about this demonstrates the fact you are not quite mod material yet. Although given you've been here for all of five minutes it would be quite surprising if you were :D

You'll soon see why this is in no way a confusing situation in EADD if you stick around =D

no toaster? thats pretty hardcore

i'll see your no toaster, and raise you no hot water whatsoever for three years. cold showers while withdrawing :)

No water for three years?!? That is hardcore. No competition. I suspect there may be a tale attached to that...

And cold Pop Tart info has been noted :)

Snap. Actually I have seen one but only once when I nipped out for a cig when I was in one of the London tube stations. Never seen one since. Do occasionally buy Nando's brand hot sauce at the Co-Op here though. Nice sauce it is too :)
