Newcomers - Cold Water Extraction: Method Do's & Don'ts

Due to the way codeine works (its a prodrug, not active in its self) it can vary wildly from person to person. If brimz liver is good at metabolising it into its active forms he could be getting a lot more out of the same amount. Some people hardly get any effects from codeineat all, recreational or otherwise.
 
Definitely. I'm taking 450mg, three times per day now. Still feels good but the buzzy fun bit only lasts half an hour.
 
Hi folks just new and got a few questions,

I have paramol and wan to do a cwe. This way sound ok?

Crush pill , stir in cold water, 2 coffee filters 1 inside other over pint glass and filter through. Done it few times and always seem to be cloudy. Is this coating on tablets or what?

I never want a big buzz I've took like over 200 mg of codeine am liked and now wanna try paramol.

Any give me a heads up and more info on best way cheers

Use as little water as possible to mix with the pill, the more water you use, the more paracetamol you get. Always soak the filters in water before you use them so they don't absorb any of the codeine. If it is cloudy, let it sit. If the stuff sinks to the bottom, then it's not OK, but if it doesn't, then it is not paracetamol. It will never be perfectly celar. It seems like maybe you don't speak English as a first language, so if anything does not make sense, let me know and I will explain a different way. Cool?

So little water? I have 12 paramol. 7mg in each of dihydrocodeine, does it work like co cods? I done 12 co cods few weeks ago and was cloudy after filtering but nothing went to the bottom. Do you suggest after filter let it sit for how long?

I crush tablets, stir, leave for 5? Filter into glass, leave again for 5? And drink?

Yeah, some paracetamol dissolves in the water, so you don't want to be using pints, or you can still end up taking a harmful dose. You want to use about a hundred mil, tops. Yeah, the process works just like with co-codamol. It'll be cloudy, that's OK, just check that the cloudiness isn't suspended material that eventually sinks. Just leave it long enough that you can make sure that everything you could have filtered out has been filtered out, if you get me.

I was just trying to be as helpful as possible in providing information about using drugs in the safest possible way, BHM. I notice you've piped up to have a dig and contribute absolutely nothing of worth, like a total spunktrumpet, as per fucking usual.

Well, if you're liable to get a dodgy tummy from codeine/DHC, then smoke before. Or smoke before anyway. Also after. And during. Yeah, it's a nice combo. If you find the DHC makes you itchy, take an antihistamine (piriteze or clarityn etc).

I'm not a doctor, but that doesn't sound like a problem. Check the leaflet that comes with the medication, it'll say if it's contraindicated for use with any medical conditions. I would have thought, though, that if anything, opioids would tend to calm down your intestines. The anti-histamine, it can change the way your body metabolises the drug, so if I were you, I'd only take it if the itching bothered you. Most antihistamines also increase the depressant effects of codeine/DHC, well, actually have sedative effects of their own. If that's the kind of experience you're going for, go for it. Have fun!

its just an idiotic statement all round isnt it, really. paints you out as a bit of an arrogant twat, which in the three or four posts of yours ive bothered reading - seems quite an accurate portrayal. oh and ios autocorrects spelling, not grammar. you foreign or something?

This is an international board, I've encountered lots of people who don't speak English as a first language. Grammar and spelling have a complex interrelationship... ah, what's the use. My only intention was to help a person, about whom I wanted to presume as little as possible, to make the most informed and safe choices they could. I see you've decided to insult me, rather than actually contribute any kind of useful information whatsoever. Again.
 
Well I speak that way because I'm Scottish. Can't help it just slang talk over the internet and text. Have done it for years.

Another question for you guys.

I am doing a cwe as we speak and I am filtering it through 3 coffee filters. I crunched paramol up best I could with 2 spoons then put it in 100 ml of cold water. Stirred for a good 3 4 mins and now pouring it through the filter. Is this correct?

Also I will let it sit after and what are the bad signs again after filtered ?

How much paracetamol do those tabs have in them anyway? 330mg? 500? You should be fine. The best way to see if it's right is to check what's left in the filter, you can work out how much paracetamol you're trying to remove, and if you've got that much, or close, job's a good un. If the solution is a little cloudy, fine. If there's like visible white particles in it, no good. I usually just chuck the whole tabs in the water and leave it, let the water do the work, but your way works too. Mate, I wasn't trying to criticise how you talk, it's just not standard English grammar, so I thought perhaps you might speak English as a second language, I was mistaken, sorry. I was trying to make sure I was being as helpful as possible, not to be an arrogant twat. Yeah, what you've done sounds fine to me.

Right its filtered through. No got anything in the water just a bit of a cloudy tinge to it nothing much tho.. No white bits or anything but filter is is quarter full no sure id say looks like full amount of paracetamol but it is wet?

500 mg in each tablet
