EADD: New (and less new) RCs - steric hindrance and vestigial rituals

It adds a kinda personality to the posts, people typing all correctly etc all the time seems a bit robotic and emotionless

your grammar is fine, there is just a lack of punctuation. This is EADD though not an English exam so no one's docking you any marks for lack of a few full stops here and there.

Is there going to be more of this stuff after the first trial batch has been sent out ?

Maybe i could use a new functional stim. I could also use a new decent recreational one too. Very sadly the best stim i have atm is ethyphenidate, although this strain of kratom i got works just like a stim too.

im not sure mdb , im thinking if i can get some cash on wednesday of asking if i can buy a gram and test it with something else to act as a catalyst had this same problem with mpa sometimes it needs something to start it off ive necked grams of it got nothing then smoke a like bit of noids and ban here we go

This

and at least your typing aint as bad as brimz haha

brimz uses a kind of text spk shorthand all of his own, shambles sort of seems to invent his own words in his style of posting too. I like to think i post just how i speak, or at least how i think. My typing is more correct and a bit more articulate than my speech as i have more time to think about it, and get it structured better than IRL conversations.

I habitually employ a high register and a superfluous degree of artifice in the verbose, elaborate initial portion of a post, then mix it up with a solid bit of fucking swearing and maybe a shit joke.

I was gonna say that brimz definitely has his own language, like a super streety kinda style. Shambles sticks to the english language, but definitely invents a lot of his own expressions - I wanna call them "shambleisms" :). There's some i haven't heard in a while though that i think need bringing back, "bat-shit crazy" was one of my early faves when i first joined BL.

do you speak as articulately as you write IRL conversations ? If so a few pints with you would blow my mind, especially all that chemistry talk. Well no it possibly wouldn't blow my mind as I'd just let it flow over my head probably.

ive started unintentionally copying him in employing phrases like 'wanna' and 'gonna' etc. I dont want to come accross as a poor man's Shambles, but it is a more accurate reflection of how i speak, i think.

yeah i think i use wanna and gonna for similar reasons, definitely wouldn't worry about coming off as a copy - I'm pretty sure we all recognise similarities in our own styles with others as well as learning from other people. I've noticed Knock's a particulary clear writer, as in you don't have to back track and re-read his posts. That's something I definitely aspire to do with my own posts, however, i do find that it takes energy for me to do this so very often i might just bolt four 5 word sentences together, all separated by full stops. Its not pretty but it works when you're on the run / lacking time. I'm like you in that i like the time to think so i can construct better sentences than i can in real life speak, but is not always practical.

Yeah noids tend to have that effect on me with everything. The 'here we go' thing. The only exception is if ive had a high dose of sleeping pills, even noids dont break through that, they will break through any dose of etizolam though. I really dont even like the effects that noids have on me, i really dont know why i keep taking them. I usually take a couple of hits on a bong before bed, and then have my mind filled with crazy thoughts and cant get to sleep.

It's not just you. I often find some of me phrases and words de jour popping up all over the place. I know they's mine cos I seed 'em and they sprout.

I've also been considering suing Charlie Brooker for nabbing "shambles" when introducing the American psuedoshambles on that finefine proggy of his.

On the subject of insanely long words, I was pleased last night to hear a mississippian on tv last night say the word mississippi. He said "missippi". Now i don't have to keep worrying about the number of s's in that word. i know it's a little thing but its been bugging for like ten years until last night.
