difference between strains of weed and hash

How many strains of weed or hash have you tried and do you think there is much difference in the high between strains?
i'm not talking just strength wise but is there a difference in the actual high like do some make you feel more relaxed or paranoid etc %)

I've not smoked weed for a long time now so I would also be interested if anyone could recommend some weed that's not too strong and just gives a nice gentle chilled out buzz.
Some weed I smoked before gave me a fucking panic attack so want to stay away from that kind of stuff.

Like maxalfie I reacted badly to a few strains, never actually got a very serious panic attack but still... wasn't really pleasant.

Hash I find to be relaxing, from what I gather it is mainly made from indica plants. Sativa strains tend to cause more paranoia as it is more associated with a "psychedelic" type high, to me... I find them to cause less anxiety mainly because when I'm couch locked I feel all depressed and that can lead to a bit of anxiety... more social than any other tho.

If you have access to different types of strains try a pure indica and then a pure sativa... try and find the sweet spot from there. The weed I get is either indica or indica dominant so it tends to be a couch lock type high which I don't really like, but I've also gotten some good hybrids that were nice and mellow... gave me a nice big smile on the face.

I know one guy who always gets nice Indica strains, but that's about it. Apart from that its people who grow their own. Everyone else just sells what they can get, or they lie about having a certain strain.

its near impossible to get uncontaminated weed or hash these day nearly every damn thing is fucked up with noids

never told the difference in weeds but hashes some of them seem more trippy than others while some are heavy lock to the couch stuff

As for the different types thing, if it makes you sketchy smoke indica.

I have bought stuff from said site n NEVER had contaminated stuff, either sprayed with fibreglass or cannabinoids, part of me thinks it may be imagination.

ive smoked oz's of noids and know straight off when its one of them not had the fiberglass thing but the noids is very real

Are there any good ways to tell if your weed has been sprayed or otherwise contaminated with something? I've never knowingly had anything like that, but I'm seriously considering trying a certain site and Foolsgold's post has made me slightly suspicious

Can you not use a powerful magnifying glass ? Check the leaves for contaminants same as when the glass beads were being sprayed (or whatever the hell was previously being used).

Nowadays the contamination is done at an invisible level, the only way is by checking the ash as you smoke, you can generally tell as the ash is hard to the touch and when rubbed between fingers a black charcoal like colour is seen rather than the light grey ash colour, not saying that is a definite way to check as some weed ive smoked has been similiar but that was down to the lazy grower not flushing all the chem nutrients out before harvest (black ash, crackles when smoking etc)

The local dealers occassionally sold us crap, like it had bits of old tyres or something awful like that in it. It produced thick black smoke too, was pretty bad and we told him we werent going to buy any more of that crap.

I gather that these days some dealers spray their weed with cannabinoid powder. This is very bad news and i cant think of an easy way to test for that, other that smoking it to see.

online weed is usually okay to good in quality, but overpriced. weed is just like any other blackmarket drug now, all sorts of shadiness abounds. i will return to this later but yes, ive smoked and cultivated many many different forms, types and even created a few hybrid strains myself. there is an entire world of difference and always something new to learn. a wonderous drug

Yea man, it definitely is a wonderous drug, I still have a load of seeds from my own breeding programs think there's some satori x NYCD crosses in my stash.. ahh how I miss gardening!

Ive heard about this legendary hash laced with heroin. But never actually had any to my knowledge that i can recall. I wonder if it was accidental contamination or if someone thought it would be a good idea, stoners would probably like such a product and want to keep comin back for more. I wonder if they were told what was in it, and were charged more as a result, or if it was a sneaky ploy to get people addicted. Sorry for all the speculating here. I wish i had some statements of fact to contribute but do not.
