I met up with infinite Jest the last time I was in London. We drank real ale in a pub while child of the beat drank Pims, then we ate at a cheap Indian restaurant where he touched my man bits under the table.

I really can't recall unless he went under a different moniker on here at some previous point. I can think of a few of the Brizzle lot I've met and recall meeting but they don't seem to post here much these days.

It's easily done. Meets did used to get pretty big when you added in EADDers local to the destination. Been to (I think) three, maybe four, biggish meets and two or three much smaller ones. Plus had the occasional visitor here and gone visiting myself once or twice. A few people I've gotten on really well with and met a number of times, most I've meet briefly, couple somewhere in between, loads I've "nearly met" but never got the organisation bit done one way or another (surprisingly enough). It'd be easy to rack up a "creepily" long list of meetees if you went to just a couple of the really big meets that have been known to actually happen - albeit all many years back afaik (before my time, definitely not before Ali's time).
 
hence why I'm more than a little eagre to see fully animated version. Pagey and Scientist are but props to me in this situation

imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?

i've met some very cool, very kind, very interesting people/personas on this site. some of those translated to meetings in real life and friendships which persist to this day. it's not clear to me what's creepy about that.

it's certainly no more eerie than trying to manufacture an issue which isn't there :)

Hehe. There's a very similar pic of me out there somewhere. Taken surreptitiously at a (very) mini-meet I attended and spent the entire weekend with a tooter in me bog and tinfoil on the go - was during my particularly peevish period. I'm not overly photegenic at the best of times but that pic is absolutely verboten to ever see the light of day :D
