Gotta catch 'em all! It's not creepy though.. besides, there's a thread around here along the lines of "How many BLers have you met?" which has a lot of number chasing in it.

Also.. I just need to say a belated "Awww!" at OTW's story. Nice to read a bit of romantic stuff occasionally.

I mean i would be none to see all my private stuff broadcast to the world potentially.

I've had a few meets back in msn chat days.

It teaches you that you're better off not meeting the fuckers and just keeping em as a figment of your online imagination.


One guy even got (rightly) accused of a rape lulz.
This was 2000-2001.


The amount of bl fuckheads I want to meet stands at -20000

the only 'online' meetups I would consider are the adultwork type one's.
 
ive met probably 20 or so folk from forums and about 7-8 from BL - all good some one offs but many became friends.
 
I never did the list-keeping thing but plenty peeps do in the Lounge thread. Dunno if it's creepy so much as anal. I know I've met two of the peeps (@lterego (and the other American lass she was travelling with (whose name I can't recall offhand - sorry "Other Lass" :o ) and Infinite Jest from the very first meet I attended *waves at IJ and wishes he'd post outside of the bleedin' cricket and rugby threads where sensible people never venture within*)) mentioned on Ali's uberlist and I didn't even have to list 'em to know that ;)

Admittedly I have been told I've met a few BLers who I have no memory of actually meeting - *waves at wcote* - but, going by the folk he mentions meeting, it would've been at one of the biggish Brizzle meets and they tended to split up into smaller groups and lose track of each other over the night so can only presume he and I ended up in different splinter groups. Which sounds far more like some kinda druggy terrorist organisation than it actually was.

Pee Ess: Yes that sentence up there is a tad too complicated and messy for it's own good, isn't it. I totally agree.
 
I'm supposed to be meeting Pagey and Mr Scientist soon actually. I will report back later on the contents of their wallets.
 
Was gonna meet up with those two and a few other folk myself but it kinda fizzled out and it looks like the loooooooooooooong meet-up thread may finally be starting to gain enough momentum for something to actually happen there. Although it's certainly not the first time it's looked that way and then fizzled 8)

Fuck the wallets. I want this event filmed and directed by Gregory Hippolyte to do it full justice.

Then I want an exclusive premier with a meet n greet with the cast

BHM he's probably been to a lot of group meet-ups, and ticked off 10 members at a time Shambles style.
 
I would meet alasdair, if purely for the reason that when we were set to go our seperate ways I'd say "alasdair" and create an very strange catch 22 situation.
