New server/upgrade issues and comments

Okay. I cleared the cache on my browser, and then it all came back. Works now.

So for anyone who still can't see the edit tools or quote/save edits, try that. Clear your cache and it should work.

Try dumping your browser cache. I've tried it both on iOS7 (full site view) and win7 Firefox with no further issue.

Edit: everyone's a ninja tonight. ;)

I had it for a good 1/2 hour on every forum that I clicked. The thread pages looked fine though.

Either way it's all back to normal now and the edit/quote thing is functional again. Thanks for your hard work abygale :D
 
The site works fantastic guys thanks for all the work you've put in.

I've noticed one small insignificant kind of problem that you may want to keep in mind - I can't seem to change either my avatar or my profile picture I get an error message each time and I've tried numerous times.

I'm not quite sure what this means but I tested a link to a thread that had been posted before the upgrade, and was logged out. I noticed this with bookmarks in my browser before too. I'm guessing it has something to do with the redirect from bluelight.ru to bluelight.org pages :)

I can only sign in on my mobile phone when I try on my PC it goes to page that says "thank you for logging in" then automatically loads a page saying I'm not logged on or don't have permission etc....followed by several reasons that don't apply to my situation (I'm pretty sure) can anyone help?
 
If you are clicking a previously saved link for Bluelight to view a page and notice you aren't logged in, type on Bluelight.org and sign in. It should work.

For anyone not getting notifications from their sub'd threads, and if its not because of the delay, you might want to check your spam folder. Since the upgrade, all my sub'd threads were appearing in my spam... I found that to be a bit odd.

Sounds like a cookie problem. Try clearing your cookies.
 
First, Aby you rock for doing all this for the site.

Second, I dunno if its been mentioned cos I'm using uni internet and getting furtive looks so don't have time to trawl the thread but I can't access my PMs, it just sends me to a database error.
