I know you have travelled a lot, have you ever been to Paris ? Jesus christ many of the people there have a terrible attitude, so arrogant, pretentious, and hostile. The people in other parts of France hate the Parisians even more than they hate the English, which is really very comforting.

york is a nice place, i went there once to watch an alex higgins and jimmy white exhibition, i drove all that way only to find out the event had been cancelled. Fortunately, i was able to say 'never mind, i'll have a look round York anyway seeing as ive come all this way' and it is a beatifull city, when you walk up Little Shambles street or whatever its called and the cathedral comes into view its stunning.

I really like her too, ive seen her interviewed, talking about her Dad, in A Tribute To Alex Higgins, she had proper love and respect for him.

Unlike his wife who said when he won the world championships in 1982 "now the problems are really going to start". How negative can you get, all she did was nag him, if he wanted to stay in, feet up, few tinnies, study the horses in the papers. She should have given the man a break, or not get involved with him at all as she knew what he was like.

Apparently he was banned from every pub and hotel in Manchester. That is some reputation the guy had. He was also best mates with Oliver Reed and they had some mad stories to tell. George Best did not like Alex Higgins allthough they had a hell of a lot in common, Alex's ego was too much for Best.

It'll take longer than a day for the people of Norwich to catch up with the rest of the UK.

at least one very clever person grew up thereabouts; Mr Stephen Fry. Reepham, Norfolk to be precise, but pretty close i think. I believe he supports Norwich FC along with Delia Smith. Quite a bizzare couple of football fans they make.

Norwich is a nice city compared to other cities I've been to. Great market there & a castle with a museum inside on the top of a hill in the middle of the city.
