As aforementioned, the Bible does away with all it's stoning, capital punishment and beating with Jesus who is all love and tells us that is wrong.

Considering the Qur'an is so similar to the Bible, doesn't it too teach against this barbarity?

I'm a gay man - three pages of biblical quotes saying how It's/I'm/My partner is wrong . Not one, saying that Before the grace of god go 'I' not one saying god created me in his image etc - just the typical - dont be gay Jesus will cry etc? Adam and Eve not Adam n Steve etc, blah. It just gets so boring. If you do no like gays because 'you' do not like gays say it. Do not hide behind god, do not try and justify it with religion (any).

Bearlove - I hate organised religion. I don't believe in God. I am all for gay rights.. The oppression of homosexuality due to religion is one of the many reasons i deem religion harmful to humanity.

I have 2 gay mates and 1 bi (very good friend of mine).. I see homophobia is malicious ignorance that needs to be met with an iron fist and for the last time.. I hate religion.

Like I said; having knowledge of religion and religious texts just helps me fight them, and win. When you know more about scripture than the homo bashing jesus nut it's easy and (for me) fun to use their own beliefs against them.. as I have done to raas.. ;)
