I have a serious question which I have yet to find a definitive answer for.
Is it possible to be allergic to LSD?
I ask this because, about a month ago, I tripped for my first time on (what my friend was 99% certain was) LSD. The next morning, I woke up covered in extremely itchy red patches.
LSD had been something I'd been looking forward to for YEARS to come, and I'd honestly be a bit devastated to find out that I'm unable to experience it like anyone else can.
The day after the trip, I began to look up whether or not is was possible to be allergic to LSD, and have found many, many mixed results.
My doctor prescribed a hard-steroid regime and the patches were cleared up within a week and a half.
I should also mention that I took xanax about 6-7 hours after I started the initial trip, merely to make interacting with people easier.
I would love to experience another trip, but I'm worried about what could happen without knowing for certain whether it's safe for me.
So, is it possible that there was something else on the blotter that I was allergic to?
Or maybe the mixing of the LSD and xanax did something funny?
I've never had any kind of allergic reaction before, so any input is welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks
