Can I quote you on that for my CV? :D
Disappointing to see which two people voted in "I was a poster but now I've had enough".![]()
Haha I didn't see who'd voted what.. I'll be havin a look now...I was there first.
This gayorstraight character just has a knack for following the cool kids.
Had enough because it's way boring and depressing.GoS, like Sam is a girl. (j/k sam). It would be nice if people who have "had enough" would give their reasons.
Also Sam is a sarcy bugger so I wouldn't take that too seriously. He's been through much worse on here in times past yet stayed with us.
so.. what will happen to those that say they lurk but will post more.. and dont?
or those who have had enough.. but continue to post?
there should be some penalty surely
Had enough because it's way boring and depressing.
It's the members that make it what it is.
^ exactamundo. As I always say, if you think it's boring, then write something interesting. If you think it's depressing, then write something uplifting.
And for the most part, these days, the members are equal parts boring and depressing.
On the other hand, forums, like anything else, don't always go on and on forever, and they certainly don't stay the same for ever. It's possible EADD has changed forever. There's not a lot I can do about it myself though, it takes a lot of people being active to make EADD the fun, buzzy place that it has been in the past. And it still is sometimes fun and buzzy, but it's less often at the moment, for all the reasons we've talked about.

I'll still come on here for HR advice, and the occasional look in the TV or Movie thread, but other than that the "social" side of EADD is dead for me.
