It sounds like you have read or at least familiar with the work of Lyle McDonald/Martin Berkhan? It's good that you're aware of set-point, most people don't understand, and get really frustrated when they don't reach their goals. How many refeeds are you doing per week? Amount of carbs? Not sure if you posted it (I'm too lazy to look), but what is your height, weight and current bf%? Have you tried increasing the amount of carbs? Push it as high as you can and see how your body responds. You know what signs to look for if you overdid it on the carbs?

Yup. I have read just about everything from Lyle, Martin, Alan Aragon and other knowledgable guys like Eric Helms and to some extent Layne Norton etc

Im currently experimenting with 3 refeeds at 400grams of carbs. Stats: 1m83 75KG around 9% bodyfat (I look heavier bigger than my weight would suggest. I have a very small frame with thin wrists etc)
I thought i was 1m78 but i measured again and turns out im taller haha.

Im pretty experienced with refeeds and know how i respond. I have gotten down to 5% bodyfat before, but felt like shit. Im trying more of a LeanGains approach this time ala Martin Berkhan.
I expect to feel alot better this way and so far it's working well.

Will keep you guys updated on my progress. I'll probably hover between 8% and 10% till after christmas/new years.
Starting januari i will commit too cutting a 100%
 
@ Serotonin: haha I am back to the buzz cut. But I have a really round head same with my face so at least now I can grow facial hair ( I do the jaw line beard chin strap deal ) but that is kept at nothing longer then a #1. Though on a few deployments a bunch of us would rock the Hawk, sort of the tribute to the 101st Airborne on D-Day- alot of them did the hawk and "warpaint" ratchets up the intimidation factor. But yeah man I went crazy after I was out have 00g in the lower lobe, 8g above that, nipples at an 8g and I have had an apandrayva piercing since I was 18, easy to hide, was my sort of rebellion while in uniform. Looking forward to getting some ink in the coming year, adding to the obligatory service ink. Hell I am not gonna lie the lack of serious schedule still has me feeling odd, hence the self imposed schedule from serious training, was my way of coping with being back in the civilian world shit is rough.

@heerutosen: Better taller then shorter mate. I have gotten down really low my self a few times 5-6% But for me I donno if I could blame symptoms of tired on the percentages or just the fact that I was Active duty Service at the time( never had libido issues just the fatigue when I was down that low but diet sucks when your in the field as well MREs not exactly great food). So I donno, currently sitting at 8% and feeling fine but that may change as I get lower. I am aiming for a lean gain as well but this winters bulk blast will probably have me blowing up fairly quickly. I start my bulk in January makes the holidays a little rough as I am trying to stay within my diet lines but I was aiming for 9% by January and I have beaten that goal so I am sitting in a better position then I though I would be in. Do you mind If I ask what a typical day in your diet looks like mate?
 
Cruise lessens the need for ancillarys... Careful selection of compounds on blast combined with some tapering towards the end may negate the need for expensive anti-estros.. Masteron and Proviron are much underrated IMO...
Although it will depend on the size of the blast...

@Neoprimitive: I just eat whatever fits my macro's.

The only constant in my diet is eating 400-600 grams of veggies and 125-250 grams of fruit every day and 300-600 grams of meat or fish.
Lean meats on refeeds and fattier cuts of meat on restdays.

I eat mostly non processed foods with high micro- and phyto nutrient content, but i'll also eat ice cream, cereal or pizza if it fits my macro's just not everyday (about 80% nutrient dense foodsources)

Meat, Fish, veggies (all kinds but mostly fibrous), fruits (berries, apple, cherry tomatoes etc), Quark, Eggs, Whey , Nuts ( mostly Almonds), fishoils, Rice, Oats, Oven fries, Potato wedges, sweet potato, crackers, low fat cheese etc

Last blast was 23 weeks, then 23 weeks cruise... For an oldie like me blasts should ideally be 2 X 8-10 weeks/year..
Cruise: 200-250mg/week to avoid crash...
No emotional roller-coaster or impotence with PCT, cruise to hold on to gains... and to allow lipid profile and liver enzymes to return to near normal..
Regular blood tests whilst on cruise for E2, HDL, LDL, liver enzymes..etc..

Haven't done PCT for years, have been reading some PCT drugs are worse for health than some lower dose anabolics.. (lesser of two evils)..

Blast: Test-Bold-Mast-Deca..... some dbol, some oxy'...
 
Thats a nice lil blast. Did you run the of the two do you prefer one or the other Dbol vs Oxymetholone
 
Every time I see gf say "oxy" the junkie in me thinks "oxycodone while cruising?!" Lol.
thats a helluva cruise though. Keeps you lean, mean, and tight though id imagine.
 
ahh. I have run them together my self, at 50mg D-bol and 100mg Oxy, way too much bloat but I put on some serious size, that I promptly lost a good portion of after the kick start. I prefer D-bol but that is largely to the mental feeling I get from it which is pretty awesome. Last summer I ran a D-bol and TNE injectable 50mg of each per ml that was awesome for a pre-work out boost.

I am going to get to go to the gym today and I am very excited about that.

you'd be surprised how much the body can change from such little positive changes.

some quality food to eat is just as important as turning upto the gym and doing the hard work. baby steps, just keep working those baby steps and before you know it your goals will be achieved bit by bit.

I need to get me back on D-Bol, Alpha Pharma do ER D-Bol 25mg, gna get some of that shit when it's in stock, that's what you call a breakfast haha, Can get Sus-D-Bol combos, don't know if the D-bol would do much tho with the half life.
 
Well when I ran 50mg, 10mg blue tabs spaced out the day, don't know the brand they were just loose, anyway , I grew rapidly noticeable, put just pure water , the bloat was fuckin crazy , pure beer belly, but I felt really good about myself, defoe a feel good drug,

I would run it again at 50mg but this time I'd be taking letro 2.5mg ED , after that gyno I'll be running it with everything in the future, so I'd do that and hopefully that would control the bloat so that I can just get the positive effects , and if it started showing I'd drop it to 40 then 30 etc etc to find my dose,

The pump is amazing and the sense of well being, if I get the Alpha Pharma 25mgER ones, it will just be 1 in the morning because D-Bol causes a bit of insomnia with me, makes me hyper, especially if there is a female next to me haha :)

^seems to be the idea from some people but the folks ive read those reports were taking ~100mg/day which would be fucking expensive unless youre getting quality raw powder.
 
Yeah @ 100mg/day the price would be a lil steep, and there other options with some of the newer orals that would produce the same effect if not better.
