When Did You Realize You Found Your DOC?

I realized I found my drug of choice (opiates) when I tried hydrocodone for the first time and felt like I was floating on a cloud... I remember talking to my best friend and telling her how awesome it felt, basically felt like heaven if that's what heaven feels like. So then my use of opiates only progressed and I found heroin. Take that feeling I had trying opiates for the first time and times it by a number that I can't even really estimate. I knew that was my DOC and especially after I started spending all my money on it.
 
The 5 minutes after I snorted a line of dope. lol.
& then I fell in love again.. seconds after pushing the plunger down.

My first night with DMT had me hooked. I had a sub-breakthrough dose followed by the real thing about 30 minutes later. Fuckin ridiculous. Walked back to my dorm room thinking "damn dude you've done it this time, that was far out."

Honestly opium and H and benzos they all real good but don't really hold a candle to hanging with the deems. The amount of satisfaction a solid trip brings is immense, incomparable.
 
My first DOC was AMT... It was the first psychedelic that I ever had and for the first time in my life, I suddenly had self-esteem.

My next DOC was alcohol. I don't really have much else to say but I love vodka.

Out of all the drugs that I've ever done, alcohol is the only one that I can turn to whenever I want to and its reliable in its effects. Feel like I want to socialize? Beer and shots. Dance? Go to the club with a few shooters after doing a few before walking to the liquor store to get them. Want to get fucked up? Vodka straight from the bottle. Long day? Go to the bar.

Weed was like that for me until I started to have panic attacks from it.
 
After doing extensive research on weed, and tried it for the first time under the supervision of my sober twin brother, I knew I'd found my DOC. I felt euphoric, buzzed like the first time you try a cigarette, and so energetic. This leads me to believe it was a strain we like to call Hydro in America, if you guys aren't from the central florida area or haven't tried it before. It was definitely some good shit to be smoking for my first time, so I only hit it about 2-3 times, with small puffs. It was a perfect amount, to where I was very high but could still take care of myself and move around. It was wonderful, and weed has also helped me deal with my chronic pain and manic depression.
 
I never really had a moment where I realized I had formed a lasting relationship with a drug, but it occurred gradually over months during my first year of cannabis use. I enjoyed how it altered my cognitive processes; it calmed me and allowed me to flow through ideas and approach things from new perspectives, forming a beautiful blend of creative and critical thought.

that was so very well said, i must admit.
 
I fell in love with cannabis/hash the 1st day i smoked high quality cannabis (some nice Sour Diesel and some super kill San Fernando Valley Kush) all day. 1st time i had hash oil and bubble hash, both hash's was also made from the same retarded potent San Fernando Valley Kush that a tattoo artist brought back from cali on a damn air plane, lol. I was so faded, i actually had some intense very pretty visuals. I was super couch locked i stayed in the same spot till i passed out borderline nodding out. I had to throw up so bad but i couldn't move a muscle super super couch locked. Didnt puke, didnt even have to hold it down which is odd imo. It was a lot like be being on some tar heroin stuck to a couch zoned the hell out minus the opiate euphoria of course.

Ever since then i blaze/vape up just about every day. i also enjoy a handful of synthetic cannabinoids but they should only be used occasionally imo.
 
When I first got high on Meth I thought I had found it. Then one day I took some 10/325's for the comedown. Eventually I was only interested in my yellow pills. They solved all of my Earthly problems, of both body and mind. From the hydros it was a short jump to OxyContin when I was snagging OG OC40s for $15 with practically zero tolerance. The Oxy shared all the greatness of the Norco, only it was smaller, cheaper, more potent and easier to stay awake on. Now it doesn't matter, Heroin/Methadone/whatever. Give me the right dose of a decent opiate in the proper ROA and I'm in heaven. Add a touch of speed and a benzo and I'm yours. And some marijuana too. You know what, I'm a gluttonous fucker when it comes to drugs, but Opiates every single time. No questions asked. Prescription please, while I love Heroin in the arm I don't want to become "that guy".
 
That first shot of fent in the hospital elicited a response from me, being, "That is some GOOD shit!" I was high as a kite for 12 hours, and good sir, may I have another before you discharge me? All the nurses were laughing at me, I was so high and funny. LOL

Well, that went downhill fast, but <3 morphine lol

When they shot me up with morphine in the hospital when I was first starting off (I was 16).... omg... it was amazing. I then was knocked out and when I was discharged I threw up in the parking lot.

Went so further downhill after that
 
When I first mixed Xanax with Fioricet....I was in wonderland. And when I went to sleep that night, I woke up high in the morning. <3
 
LSD without question is my favourite, do it every 1-2 weeks. I probably smoke weed and use k more often, but neither are as fun. Used to be MDMA but don't do it very often any more.
