Datura is an anticholinergic.
Ever heard of people getting "high" off Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or any other prescription allergy medicine? That's exactly what this is like. It's a very unpleasant and painful (yes there is actual pain involved) experience. I don't know why people call it a "high". Being high to me is altering your state of consciousness in a way that's fun. Datura isn't fun. Hell it isn't even amusing. It's just fucking scary.
You feel incredibly tired, yet you can't sleep. You're incredibly agitated, ache all over, and really it's no different than a horrible case of the flu. Datura isn't a fun experience, it's scary and it hurts. You'll regret ever having touched the stuff if you do.
