By the way after next weeks walking dead they are doing that "mid season break" kind of shit, where they just stop in the middle of a season for a few months for no reason, so its sort of a "finale". Shit goes down.

Anyone seen theyve killed of Brian in Family Guy? and replaced him with some random dog, like not just for one episode for the rest of the series ,. Simpsons said they are killing off a main character also its like fucking eastenders vs coronation street.

Not cheap at all compared to the price of netflix. plus season 5 is split in 2 halfs and each half is nearly 15 quid
 
Watched the first few episodes of 'the bridge' on netflix - danish / sweedish police procedural - story isnt anything to rave about but the characters and performances are pretty good (Sofia Helin - luverly lass) and the whole thing looks and sounds gorgeous. as soon as its done i might give 'the killing' a go sounds like a similar sort of thing and it hails from the same part oif the world.

About to start season 2 of 'boardwalk empire' i enjoyed the first lot but its been 18 months since ive seen them so cant remember fook all about the story. Just looking forward to more of that snipe with half a face

I don't understand why they are killing him off tbh - it could follow on where Stewie fixes his time machine, goes back and saves him. Or Dallas style when it was all a dream etc? Should have killed Chris instead.

Quite a few good series about at the minute - Bob's Burgers, American Dad, Walking Dead (great at the moment). Not sure if anyone watches The Mentalist?

For some reason they seem to have got the day and month the wrong way around
 
Not sure if you are jesting or not but the US standard is month/day of month/year.

Rest of the world is usually day of month/month/year. Depends who they've been influenced by.

I prefer year/month/day of month :D Cos you can sort it easily. And it's an international standard! But only really used by techies.

This is why 9/11 is the 11th of September and not the 9th of November.

I really liked it (the story is fine in my view)
Caught it on BB4 a few months ago & well worth a watch.
 
The storys ok but its very episodic in places and they seem to spend alot of time introducing characters before dropping them again very quickly. My problem is my unrealistic expectations of cop dramas after watchin the wire. Saying that im the last epsiode now and they're ratcheting up the drama now quite nicely.
