I also saw that Come Dine With Me that Julia Bradbury was on, came across as bit of a party girl who likes a drink or 3,good girl.
BBC1 tonight at 9pm is 'Britain's Secret Terror Force'.
John Ware reports on an anti-terrorist squad run by the British Army in the early 1970s,investigating allegations that rogue members of the unit killed innocent civilians.

Im a celeb get me out of here, worth watching just for some of the shit joey essex comes out with

Caught this the other day, I've always been a huge fan of Trevor Brown & Joel Peter Witkin for years now, though I am not wisdom on art & wasn't 100% sure what the term "outsider art" actually meant I can say now I fit right into the camp. The work these people are doing is amazing, I see more skill in the images of someone from Japan who is mad than I have ever seen in anything by Damien Hirst.

Joel Peter Witkin for example in my view is "real art" while all of these art school ,posh cunts are just jokers & sell their trash to upper class morons, selling shit to shitheads is the way I see it.
Anyway for some of the most amazing "art" your going to see in a long time just trust Bodda (for once)

Not sure if this should be here or not (do we have a snooker thread?) but O'Sullivan v Ding just starting on ITV4 now, for a place in the semis in the Champion of Champions tournament. O'Sullivan seemed to be playing well this afternoon in his group match but Ding has won his last 4 ranking tournaments so it should be a good match. :)

cheers for letting me know, im a big fan/supporter of Ronnie. Glad to see there is another snooker fan on here. Mugz was the only other one i knew of, brimz seems kind of half interested.

World Championship Snooker ? :?:sus:

Thats a fucking misnomer. The world championships are allways held in April/May and broadcast by the BBC, unless Barry Hearn has really fucked things up. Ah, i see its a champiions of champions thing, Ronnie doesnt normally bother himself with anything thats beneath him.

Nice to hear the dour tones of Clive Everton again after the BBC sacked him. He makes more intelligent observations than any other commentator.

Snooker is about the only sport I'm interested in, when the big 3 tournaments are on the BBC I'm literally glued to the telly.

I'd not heard of this Champion of Champions tournament before so I'm not sure what the qualifying criteria are, but it's good to see O'Sullivan in good shape and will hopefully have a good shot at the UK championship when it starts next weekend. When he's on top form he's an absolute joy to watch.

yes absolutely, its magic when hes enjoying himself and letting go. Same here about snooker being the only sport im interested enough in to know much about. I didnt watch much snooker last year as Ronnie didnt enter any tournament apart from the world championships AFAIK. A tournament without Ronnie in it is never complete.

Ronnie's gonna have to do something special if he's gonna win this match. Ding is looking formidable. He doesnt look like he's gonna falter.

Yeah looks like I spoke too soon earlier!

Edit: Nice brown down the cushion to take his first frame though.

Yeah that was a cool shot. Just seen ITV are doing a Jimmy White special life story on Tuesday, dramatised that things were spiralling out of control and he could have killed himself. I knew he's best mates with Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones, and there are alledged suspicions that he's into cocaine, he's certainly partied very hard.

Do you play snooker yourself ? I find it incredibly frustrating; one day i can play well and feel like everythings coming together and then the next day i can barely pot a ball. I much prefer pool, it's much easier.

Haven't played snooker for years, always like to have a game of pool down the pub though, and used to play for my local team a few years back. When I was at uni we used to go and play a couple of hours of snooker and then hit the pool tables just to feel like absolute pros and 7 ball each other every frame. So easy after struggling to play snooker for a while!

Thanks for the heads up about the Jimmy White doco, I'll set it to record :)

I wouldn't be able to do it now, but if you play every day you soon get that good. I used to live with a girl who played pool at county level for the ladies team, so I had my work cut out to beat her. I used to on occasion though!

well done man, on reaching such a high standard. I played every night for about a year, my first year at uni, i didnt get that good, though i wasnt too shabby either, kind of almost there, sort of thing. It was all down to temprement, id get over excited and start playing too fast, and start playing too many over ambitious flashy crazy shots just to show off, after watching too much Higgins/white/ O'Sullivan.

Its strange that i made my only total clearance in a match where i hadnt picked up a cue for a year, many years after my 'peak' pool years. It was completely down to temprement, i was much calmer, and i held my nerve.

Haha, cheers! I don't really see it as much of an achievement, just spent far too much time down the pub when I should have been studying.

Can't see Ronnie winning this match now after missing that easy blue in the last frame, and having 10 minutes to sit down and stew over it. :(
