Speed is supposed to be dry really. At least it always was until "base" putty/paste starting showing up. It's that stuff that's the real mystery. It used to be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay stronger than any powder speed but that's not been the case in a dog's age. People just add solvents to dry speed to pad out the weight and make it smell stronger is all. Pure freebase speed is an oily liquid and rapidly evaporates. Street speed should come in salt form for stability and thus be dry. My opinionionion and all that anyway.

But no, moisture content is no sign of quality either way.

You've been saying this since forever, I've been saying this since I joined the board (it's been my No1 drug for decades, literally), Allein too ..

It wasn't too long ago that it seemed half the board was bemoaning how shit speed was. Even when we chimed back it's because you've never had good speed.

The board atm is all over the stuff, tis weird to see, but I guess it's hopefully a sign there's a consistent source of decent quality out now (thanks to Polish influx of peeps to the UK, maybe, so better connects?). Maybe people finally came round to face the fact that doing shite coke every weekend is a total waste of cash
 
Definitely. I honestly think that anybody who likes stims at all who doesn't rate speed has just never had decent stuff. Coke is great in the right setting but is mostly either massively cut to buggery and overpriced or just cut to buggery and massively overpriced instead. Bad quality speed is but sweeteners and Pro-Plus marinated in solvents - no wonder it gets a bad rep - but the good stuff is just the bizniz. Am still waiting on the Eastern European speed influx to arrive here. All good things, eh? :D

Is drying out now though, a line of it is unreal, matchstick is definatly enough :P
 
I'm on a downers hype right now.

stims just make me feel too shit for days after. Except for occasional MDMA use.

post benzo grogginess isn't fun but doesn't tend to be a problem if you don't overdo it.
 
I've never had speed. Would love to try some, but only if it's good.

Never come across a speed dealer though, except for my Polish colleague at Costa Coffee, who (tragically) took all of his speed before he got a chance to sell it.

Well im not actually fucked yet but cant decide what to do. After getting strong lsd trips last week i requested more of same this week and instead what i end up with is 3 of the same strong trips from last week, a ten strip of beatles Sgt peppers/yellow submarine trips which are less than half as strong (but cheaper) and two loose mystery trips which i dont know what the fuck are they are certainly a different print a fractal or sumthing i dont have the other pieces of the jigsaw.
The three strong trips are certainly enough for tonight to have a good trip on their own hopefully i dont get greedy and mix trips i know taking different brands of mdma pills in the same night is not advised i presume it would be the same about mixing different synths of acid? Im not sure.

edit. I know this is prob the wrong thread but the lsd thread is very quiet these days it could take days to get an answer

It'll be even quieter if everyone decides to post in here instead =D

I've never heard about not mixing MDMA pills nor have I heard about not mixing trips and the only reason I can think why you wouldn't do it is if you assume they're all the same strength and you're not doing that. Also I definitely have eaten mixed MDMA pills and I'm still alive :D better still I had a good time.

I'd have to agree but even the people buying kgs straight from the lab are getting it so wet it looses 50% weight they say. I'd say a gram as it is ie still damp is worth £10, if it's dry and pure then £20.

Considering meph is £40 a g round here now it would seem a bargain no matter what.

That's me just coming down now, trying to stay off alcohol after 28 days straight of min 8 pints a night, but it's seeming more tempting now. Don't know would a spliff help. I could obviously take more speed and wank myself into oblivion but seems pointless no sleep rough for a 10 hour shift at work tomorrow.. Think I'll take the sensible option.

Cheers knock at least you have given me a bit of perspective. I guess its just a small bit of pre-trip nerves. My logic regarding not mixing different xtc tablets was about not throwing unknown xtc brands into the mix if pill A is one that you have had before and seen good reports on pillerports and pill B was maybe a new press that u didnt have reliable info on from pillreports and were unsure about.
as it happens i also grabbed 5 decent reliable dutch beans earlier also not for tonight am keeping them for a party at the weekend.
ive stopped being a pssy and took the 3 strong trips.
in about an hour if i could work my fone i would probably be waffling about some terence mckenna talk about "a thousand microscopes, a thousand telescopes spinning through awareness at each instant of life pulsating as a single cell"
but i got that out of the way now while i can still type and saved the effort.

Idiot I am thought the speed was that strong and kind of burns on the nose so I'd cut what I have left 50/50 with dextrose and ration it for longer. But of course I had to try a line to be sure ;) hardly any difference just smoother up the nose.

No sleep for a while so the techno is going on :D

Was a reasonably chunky blighter but did notice it seemed to have some kinda browish powderish stuffish atop the baccy. Slightly funny ol' whiff too it too but is kinda hard to determine one slightly funny ol' whiff from another when dealing with skanky fag butts with suspect powders lurking within. randomly decided to have a small bomb (120mgs) and a few lines. Will save my big bomb for a good night out though. Taking ages to come up on the bomb.
