Speed is supposed to be dry really. At least it always was until "base" putty/paste starting showing up. It's that stuff that's the real mystery. It used to be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay stronger than any powder speed but that's not been the case in a dog's age. People just add solvents to dry speed to pad out the weight and make it smell stronger is all. Pure freebase speed is an oily liquid and rapidly evaporates. Street speed should come in salt form for stability and thus be dry. My opinionionion and all that anyway.
