I would like to take this opportunity to share some unrelated feedback and warnings with regards to this substance that i think is important based on my experience in its use. This is the only "drug" that has almost killed me twice in a very short period of time without any warning whatsoever of a potential threat beforehand. Let me explain...
1. My personal experience with Phenibut is noticeable/recreational dosages of 2-3g
2. Phenibut is very sneaky and subtle in the fact that it results in all the risks of intoxication similar to alcohol without any of the warning sings that ensure you remain cautious, like with alcohol.
3. In my experience and at first on face value Phenibut results in an effect where you receive all the benefits of alcohol such as the "euphoria", social lubrication, confidence, anti anxiety effect etc etc etc without any of the typical signs and sensations of alcohol intoxication such as the physical and mental inebriation effects (double vision, dizzyness, feeling wobbly, memory loss, etc)
4. Unfortunately the above results in a false sense of security since you physically feel perfectly sober and therefore naturally assume you can perform functions that you would not normally do when intoxicated, such as driving.
5. Unfortunately, it is an illusion, Phenibut considerably impairs driving ability, but in very unexpected surprising ways
For example:
a) I was driving on the highway feeling perfectly fine and decided to change the CD in my car frontloader. Immediately as i diverted attention from the road to something else i lost control of the car and it was immediately obvious that it was not possible to split attention between two activities while on the substance like with sober driving, as any change in focus would result in a complete shift in attention causing the previous activity to fail completely. Basically no "muscle memory" driving was possible at all like we are all used to. I experienced this effect many times on the substance.
b) Secondly due to the exact same cause as the issue above, its entirely possible to completely disregard other unconscious but critical considerations when driving. For example, while distracted by a passenger, I drove straight through a red traffic light without even realizing, in an area very known to me. This never happened before in my 15 years of driving even when i was young and stupid and drove under the influence of MDMA, MDA, LSD, Shrooms etc. Usually you can speak to a passenger and will realize you need to stop for a red light, almost unconsciously due to the inherent ability to split your ttention when you are an experienced driver, but on Phenibut this ability vanishes completely. If it was not a Sunday and the roads empty I would have been dead at that intersection.
Anyways, just thought i needed to share this warning about not driving on this stuff as it took me completely by surprise even as an experienced hard drug user, more so then any other substance by far.
