duuuuuuuuuuuude rick owens. i just can't even believe how awesome that shit was. i feel bad about watching everyone else's show now because i watched that one first.

feel you on that. interesting to read what people have to say about it. read a piece with one of the performers and she said it was a good time.

I’d heard of Rick Owens’ name, as a fashion brand, and that was probably the extent of it. I couldn’t have picked him out of the crowd, but I will say now that he has a memorable presence. I can’t say that I know him well but from the time I spent with him, he’s a really cool, peaceful guy. He’s in the moment, and very innovative. His team even worked on a documentary focused on the show coming together, and have been taping us throughout the entire process. He also filmed a little video for us all post-show saying thank you. Also, and this is the coolest thing, post-show we all got black hoodies, customized with our names on the front. They had the word “Vicious” on one sleeve and “Rick Owens S/S 2014” on the other.

We did not get to take home the clothes from the runway show, though. What’s that about?!

the amazing store that's right by where i work and needs to keep selling cult fashion mags that don't have an actual market -- obviously not the corner store's money maker and definitely a section they could cut, will always give my magazine purchasing support -- got the new issue of Self Service in today. he didn't have them on the shelves yet. grabbed me because he knew i'd been waiting. so i watched him unpack them. three copies, multiple cover options. i couldn't see which at first. so fucking exciting!

Walked for two shows for LA Fashion Week. I wasn't fond of my look for Malan Breton, but it was surprisingly comfortable so I can't complain.

that's cool you can get those type of mags near by. saw the covers of self service, really like the sam rollinson. sam has an androgynous look that i just love.

anrealage from s/s '14 tokyo: had to put the post on hold and watch that show, never heard of the brand before but i like what i see. something about tokyo designers, very... conceptual i think is the word. guess its rei/comme des garcon influence and yohji yamamoto.

those installation photos are awesome. not sure why but they make me think of tokyo, like something id see in a cyberpunk anime.

people were raving about the sam rollinson covers. she's got some fans. i love the androgynous look too, Joe. but sam didn't do it for me. i like it in the bs way. like how people call a really girl-ish female with small tits and an overall skinny frame androgynous whenever she has short hair. i'm into the androgynous look. every time edie campbell gets a haircut.

the instillation photos are good stuff, modelskinny. so are these recent two. for what? by who?
